    Hello, Lovelies!

Alaska - so glad you've found what works best for YOUR BODY; shows us all, just because someone works in a "clinic" doesn't mean they know what is best for YOUR body. Yes, I'm the same as you - I usually see gains/losses in 48 hours instead of 24; so I was glad that my weight stayed the same this morning. Well, not really "GLAD" - would have loved to had a loss - but I've been totally petrafied to eat anything really high carb - Monday my carbs totalled 106, but as I said, my weight went DOWN 2 pounds the next day; I had 74 carbs yesterday and my weight was the same today.

Tanya - another pound bites the dust - hooray!

3rdtimer - holding steady is ALWAYS better than seeing a gain!

Denise - I tried a vodka combo drink last night - Three Olives Cake Vodka & diet Ginger Ale - DELICIOUS!! Thanks so much for the idea! Although I'd call it a "sneaky drink" because you don't really taste the alcohol - those sort of drinks can really bite your *** hard the next morning, but I was good - I only had ONE & enjoyed it immensely. I guarantee if I had had ONE glass of red wine, my weight would have gone back up today. I'll do that experiment again this weekend, but I'm pretty sure I'm sensitive to Red Wine (damn it).

Bobbi - hope you are feeling better today, GF.

Bobbi,i havent tried cake flavored yet. yes the flavored vodkas are dangerous!!! I was down for the count on sat after having the grape vodka but i also made the mistake of mixing w/ red wine!Yes i was bad. If you go to pinnacle vodka.com they have a huge list of recipes for all of the different flavors of vodka.
Tanya, glad to see the continued losses!!

Thanks for your encouragment EB, I was not complaining I meant my weight is down (not my mood LOL) despite eating the fries. I chose to eat them and have no regrets. I have been doing this since December, an occasional treat is welcomed.

Just got back from a huge water workout...for me anyway LOL. 1¼ hrs of water jogging and stretches and then 45 minutes of INTENSE aquafit...gruelling instructor LOL

I had muscle cramps so just ate a banana...heading to bed exhausted.

Good Morning, Lovelies! Hope you are BIG LOSERS today!

Bobbi - WOW - that is a TON OF EXERCISE!! Do you ever see a gain the day or two after? I always do (i.e., I'll do my big exercise night tonight, then tomorrow I'll be up at least 2 or 3 pounds). I know it is water weight, but then once you lose the water, shouldn't your "regular" weight GO DOWN? Mine never does.

Three Olives brand vodka makes the Cake flavored and so far, it is my favorite. When I am almost insane craving something sweet (doesn't happen often) I will take that out of my freezer, pour myself a vodka glass full (tall ones, heavy, weighted bottom) & sip it. Denise gave me the idea of mixing it with a carbonated beverage and since diet ginger ale doesn't have any caffeine, it is a perfect evening cocktail for me. I tried it last night with the Three Berry version and didn't like it near as much as I do the Cake - it wasn't as sweet, so hubby did like it better. Just depends on your taste. I'll next try the Smores flavor as it gets colder - think it would be good in decaf coffee on a cold night.

AFM - I didn't weigh this morning as I had 2 ozs. of a new brand of cashews Costco is carrying (Hooty's salt & pepper) - they were VERY salty, and even though the calories were within my limit, I felt kinda puffy this morning. Why set myself up to feel bad today just because of water weight, when I'm weighing myself tomorrow anyway?

Hubby got my expensive exercise ball back in shape (God love him!); started doing 50 situps a day this week, will increase by 25 each week until I can do a minimum of 200 a day. My waistline expands - might as well try & tighten/tone it up as much as I can. I also do lunges, squats & upper body exercises with hand weights (4, 5 & 8 lbs.) - all that, plus walking Rev each day, will give me a daily minimum of 45 min of exercise. Then if I have time to hit the gym as well, so much the better.

My bp at the chiropractor yesterday was 165/95 - super high, keeps going up no matter what I do or supplements I take to try & lower it (i.e., added Iodine & CoQ10 for past 2 weeks to my daily regimen). I KNOW IT IS MY WEIGHT that keeps it up there. Fingers crossed that next week Doc will agree to put me on RX hcg for a long round & I can get rid of 25 or 30 pounds . . . which I'm sure will lower that BP considerably.

Back to the grindstone - will check in later.
    Christy

Crossing my fingers for you GF, keep us posted on what the doc says. You work and analyze so hard! You deserve something good.

My weight was down Monday, after working out the day before, but I had flushed out the excess water over the weekend.

This a.m., I was up a couple of lbs., and expecting it = extra workout and not enough water during the day. With this cold or whatever it is, I am holding onto the water. So today, I am playing catch up with the water...spread out evenly during the day.

Christy, I do a lot of ab exercises in the pool. I can really feel them as I workout, and I see and feel the results. The kangaroo pouch is still there (and probably always will be), but everything else is firming up and I am seeing some definition. I can do so much more in the water! It has also done wonders for my back and shoulders--a real Godsend.

I am mad at myself for cutting back on my workouts due to work. I realized last week, that I was burning out and NOT being more productive. I started back at the gym, my energy levels are up despite the fact that I am sick, and I am getting MORE work done. It just goes to show you that if you don't feel good about yourself, EVERYTHING goes South (no offence to out Southern friends...feel free to use " North" in the same context LOL.)

    Wishing everyone happy losses! xo
