Helloooooooo all my Lovelies and new Lovelies that join us!
We are all at different stages of our weight loss journey and we are from all over the world – which is what makes us SO MUCH FUN!! Please feel free to share your successes and your failures with us – we ALL learn so much more when we share with each other.

As most of you “vets” know, I’m still on my quest to get out of the 190’s by eating Primal-ish/high protein/very low carb & ramping up exercise every week – goal is to get into a size 12 by August 1. (I do plan to do another hcg P2 round, but not until late August/September.)

This week’s challenge will be to start weight-lifting. Mark Sisson (from Mark’s Daily Apple) shares that many people who cannot lose weight – even tho’ they do a ton of cardio every week (that is me) – need to drop the cardio to 1 or 2 days, and add 1 or 2 weight-lifting sessions each week. I am starting that tonight with DD in a YMCA class called Body Pump. It has been SO LONG since I’ve tried to use free weights or weight machines on my own I thought a weekly class would be a better way to start.

My calories for the past week continue to be much less than my calorie burn (numbers below) but it doesn’t seem to make any difference to TES (The Evil Scale). My weight continues to hover between 197 & 201.

    Cals Burned/Consumed/Difference
    2555/ 1991/ 564
    2613/ 1528/ 1085
    2201/ 1627/ 574
    2734/ 1352/ 1382
    2498/ 1891/ 607
    2658/ 2723/ -65
    2378/ 1724/ 654

Went a little crazy last Sunday night with wine & cheese – man, those calories build up quickly – but at least I did a lot of exercise that day as well!

Getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July tomorrow – just hoping everyone will be happy with the fantastic Fort Worth fireworks celebrations and NOT try to set off fireworks in the neighborhood – we do NOT need any more wild fires in Texas, Thank you!

Hi Christy I'm just getting back on HCG after a few years of eating way to many carbs and allowing myself to get out of control. this is VLCD 2 for me...I'm doing the Releana drops hich I was able to get thru their website, a little less costly than the doctors office, but I did well on them before so i'm sticking with those.....
anyway I love your ( TES )! I may have to borrow that one lol I released 1.2 lbs was hoping for more but will take what I can get at this point I'd like to release and never find again about 50 lbs and my plan is to stay on the Releana til I do ( this ok to do that ) my big problem was P3 last time and not paying attention to the scale nasty nasty TES...

Looking forward to the 4th tomorrow will plan in chicken or a burger with a salad...... I love going to watch the fireworks and we here in Arizona also hope that people aren't stupid and set off all those fireworks they are selling in the grocery stores and street corners I was amazed when they made them legal here someone must be getting a cut in Phx...lol

anywho glad to be back and looking forward to getting to know everyone again!

Welcome Release! And welcome back to hcg - SO GLAD you have found drops that work for you. Staying with something you know works for YOU is what I do! Please keep posting and let us know how you are doing. I have learned SO MUCH about this protocol just by reading the posts - what works and what doesn't is different for most people AND work works/what doesn't can be different between P2 rounds. My first P2 this year - 28 days long, lost 19.5 pounds; my 2nd P2 - 30 days long, stalled 13 days out of 30, lost only 10 pounds, and have put 6 of those back on, no matter how many correction days I do. Since I know I'll have to do another P2 later this year (I'm a good 30 pounds away from my end goal), I'm now focusing on strengthening my body & learning how to eat every day with NO sugars or starches.

I don't know if you happen to read last month's thread, but my hubby has been eating whatever I eat (but in substantially larger quantities), has given up all starches and added sugars (except his occasional beer in the evenings) AND HAS LOST EIGHT POUNDS.

Much as I love him, sometimes I really hate men.

So, I just keep on keepin' on - what else can you do?

RE: Fireworks - With all the AWFUL wild fires going on, we can only hope (and pray!) that people will have some SENSE this year and not put up with any fireworks jackassery! I know I'll be calling 911 if I see anyone in my neighborhood doing that crap!

Hello Ladies, how is everybody doing. Christy any losses yet? Im doing well, im down 20 lb now. This is suppose to to be my last week-42 days but if i dont hit the 25lb mark by the end of the week i think ill go an extra week, Uggh!!! Im really trying to figure out where i want to go with this after P3. Do I want to go Paleo/Primal or try to slowly include carbs back into my life. I really miss rice noodles and having Pho at my favorite Viet restautrant!! But I do feel better eating this way, and my IBS has disappeared completely. What i dont like about paleo/primal is everybody saying you have to do grass fed, organic, free range and all that crap. I went to whole foods and trader joes and started pricing that stuff. That is just crazy/stupid. I guess im also frusterated by alot of the people at marksdaily apple, how they push it down your throat and when people say they cant afford it they always come up with crap like better to the grocer than the dr. I dont want to give it to either, Id rather give it to my savings or to my wine reps that i order with! Sorry im going off, im hormonal this week. So what do you all have to say about this. what are your thoughts/plans.

    Helloooooooo all my Lovelies!!

Sorry I’ve been offline for a while, but it sure was nice to not turn on a computer for FIVE WHOLE DAYS!!! I did not bother to weigh myself on Friday because I KNEW even though I didn’t have any food off Primal/High Protein eating, I did drink a lot of WINE (I know, you are all stunned and shocked) while on my mini-stay-at-home-holiday, so you can imagine, I’m living in BIG BLOAT CITY right now. Back to my regular routine this week – hopefully my weight won’t be too horrible on Friday. Weight Class last week kicked my lumpy *** (I was sore for 3 days) but I’m doing it again this week – it showed me where I need to be concentrating. I can stay on an elliptical for an hour & not be sore the next day – weight class is definitely needed.

My Pryncess – WOWZA-WEEEEEE!!!!!! Looking very hot & lovely, my dear. Whatever you are doing, it is working well for you!

Denise – CONGRATULATIONS ON LOSING ALL THAT WEIGHT!!! That is amazing, girl! Almost makes me want to do a 30-day P2 between now & Conference time – but I don’t have 30 days! Only 27 until I leave for Las Vegas, so I’ll keep up my high protein/low carb eating & try (I will try, that’s all I can do) to limit my Wining in the next 3 weeks. Denise, I believe you have to stop at 42 days ONLY if you are taking the shots OR if you lose over 35 lbs so GO FOR IT, GIRL!
