    Hi Holly, I think there is a minimum amount of time between steak days, 4 days maybe? I remember seeing it some where. I think as long as you expect a jump in weight eating the pork rinds will be fine. I use to eat them quite a bit but I knew I'd retain fluid for a few days after eating them so I expected it. I didn't do anything to correct it, it always went back down on it's own.

    Hi girls, just updated my ticker...that has to be my fav. part of P2! I am 201.6, so that is a drop of 1.4 I think. I said I would never see the 200's again after I ended at 197, but oh well, almost back there.

    Changed my Profile pic to one from our trip to Ottawa this summer. Thought it would be more close up...maybe I can tweek it a bit.
    I bought this dress, three sizes too small, knowing we were going to this retirement party for my hubby's sister in the summer. I hung it on my bedroom door as incentive, and tried it on every month until I fit into it. Now I have a dress for Australia in January hanging there for incentive...

    That's a great idea, having it hanging on your bedroom door. I just may have to try that. I SO need some sort of kick in the butt for motivation and incentive.

    Hey! Yes it has totally worked for me. Actually I have had three or four different thinks hanging there. Once it fits I find a new one to hang up and shrink into!!

    I need help all I am in P3 LIW Aug 31 158.6 and for last 3 to 4 days I have been 161.4-6 I did SD day and nothing no loss. Should I change my LIW 161 why did I not lose on Sd and How do all of you do your sd days like amount steak, how cook it, eat all once, etc... Thanks for help. I am so flustered !!!

    Hollly,

    Sorry to hear about the issues. When I do SD's I usually eat as big as a steak I want. Often on SD's it's almost a 16oz stead. I usually Grill it with whatever marinade I want. Also, your supposed to accompany your SD with a whole Tomato or Apple. I always go with the Tomato. I also try to up my water intake that day to just help with the hunger and keep you hydrated. You can also have as much coffee/tea as you want throught out the day. I always have my large iced coffee with half and half and stevia. How about two days after SD? You still showing no loss? I think like Poo said you are supposed to wait so many days between SD's. Some people follow up with and "egg day". I thought about trying this, but never have. I know a few people on here have never had success with Steak Day's, but I've always done well with them. Maybe you can look more into the egg day, or FFF Day, or the Chicken Thigh Day, if the SD doesn't seem to do you well. Or go back to the basics all together. Stick to P2 foods for a while, but double your portions. Might just need to see if your sensitive to something other then the pork rinds.

    holly: I would wait 3-4 days inbetween steak days but some people do one every other day. If you do a SD every other day, only do 2 each week. I would skip the pork rinds (I looooooved them in P3 but they always made me gain too). Try to make sure you're getting your water and protein in. I'm sure it'll get under control soon

    Hi everyone – it’s been awhile! Appears as a lot of us are also busy with summer wrapping up!

    Back to school is always such a busy time for us. Things are continuing to remain stable and well! I yoyo between 136-138 most days and since my LPW was 138 I’m more than happy with this fluctuation. Palm Springs was super relaxing and so much fun! I really needed the opportunity to sit around and do nothing. I’m still toying heavily with the idea of a third and final round. My boyfriend is against it still… The closest he has come to accepting it is making the comment that if I work out every day for a month and I still don’t lose weight with how I eat now, then he’d support another round. :/ I haven’t worked out once… despite the motivation and intentions of doing so. I haven’t even gone for a walk. Schedule has been hectic but still, I haven’t put the effort in there. That said though – I still plan to load this coming Sunday and start on Monday. I’m leaving early Friday morning for a trip up to Seattle to visit my family, so the loading should be easy. I struggle loading so I’m going to only do it for one day but if I’m feeling it I will try and load both Saturday and Sunday but either way VLCD1 will be the 16th for me. I’ve been in P3 for 38 days now – I’ve had a few small hiccups where I’ve had a battered zucchini fry or even a few tater tots – just as I’ve had candy or a drink of some sort that wasn’t P3 friendly but 99% of the time I am strictly P3. I still a believer that I am gluten intolerant though, as the minute I try to get that lax with something, I pay for it with god awful stomachaches.

    Kiddo is off to an amazing start for the school year. This is night and day from any first week of any school year yet. This year his homework consists of a weekly package – school started Tuesday, Wednesday they got their first HW packet… when I picked my son up from after school care the entire package was complete except for a single problem. This is an absolute first! He never takes such initiative! The entire week was perfect between his behavior and his performance!!! I’m so proud of him.

    I am also happy to announce I snagged the new job at work. I am thrilled beyond belief! Another reason I need to make the next round happen sooner than later – as I start in my new position on October 7th and I want to be wrapping up P2 shortly after doing so, to help be in the best mind frame for success!
