Warning: Difference Between Homeopathic and Hormone Free Drops

This post has been updated by the HDI Team for 2018. Orig post: 2011. Note responses in this post may refer to FDA restrictions during the original post's timeline, when they were cracking down on fake hcg and hhcg. The current status of HHCG is that it is available through reputable suppliers, but it is NOT available over the counter, nor through Amazon, Ebay etc. Hcg found over the counter, is NOT real Hcg.

    Update from the HDI Team:
Please take care when purchasing homeopathic HCG to be certain they are REAL homeopathic hcg products and not hormone free.

Real Homeopathic HCG products will have "hCG" listed in the ingredients and the label will contain numbers such as these:

    "3x, 6x, 12x, 20x, 30x"

You can see these numbers under the Triumph Homeopathic Hcg drops as an example:

    Triumph Homeopathic Hcg

If your drops do not have these numbers, they are not REAL homeopathic hcg.
There have also been fake homeopathic hcg that claims to have hcg but do not. Research your products and select carefully.

Here is an article on how to know if your Homeopathic Hcg Drops are real.

Legitimate Homeopathic Hcg Sources will always be found here: Where to Buy Hcg Online

Original Post from 2011, when HHCG was permitted to be sold in stores:
I'm becoming more and more concerned about the hhcg issue. I think we are seeing way more hunger issues with it than we used to which leads me to worry that the proliferation of brands out there includes a lot that are simply NOT hhcg.

This was in the news this morning: http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepu...iet-drugs.html

Now I strongly believe they are WRONG and that hhcg really works but it MUST be a true homeopathic remedy not something some company has cooked up to make money. So if you choose to go the hhcg route, make sure you are getting a trusted brand. Check the "Buy HCG" tab above for current recommended brands. Do your research!

I got mine from via Amazon but I understand homeopathic hcg won't be available on amazon any longer. I know Triumph offers quality homeopathic hcg drops and a lot of people on the forums use that company. I had hunger vlcd 1-3. less so on vlcd 4. I don't know if that's normal or not but homeopathic seems to be working just fine for me!

Received this email yesterday from the clinic where I bought my first round from. It is an article from USAToday:

    usatoday.com/yourlife/fitness/weight-loss-challenge/2011-01-24-hcgdiet24_ST_N.htm/?loc=interstitialskip

very interesting read. Don't get me wrong I love hcg but I also used to love diet pills when I could stand the side effects. I know that hcg is more than just an appetite suppressant and we are not all harming our bodies by only eating 500 cals a day! Again don't crucify me I am not stopping or anything. Love that I am finally losing weight. But I think it is important to think/ question everything? kwim?

We've seen all that garbage that's in that article. It's so inaccurate that it's laughable. There are no side effects with hcg and it works great! But only if you have high quality hcg. If you are doing 500 calories without the benefit of hcg then there can be some health problems. hcg is not an appetite suppressant. It actually does release fat stores for your body to use just like in pregnancy. This is the first time in my life that my jeans fit at the hips and the waist both. I've had unbelievable reshaping and so have the more than 50 I've put on the protocol personally.

I'm just putting the warning out there to make sure you get GOOD homeopathic hcg if you choose to go the hhcg route.

Molly, I see you didn't lose anything the first two days of VLCD. Did you load the first two days you were taking hcg or did you just start the diet the day you started the drops? I'm not familiar with the current hhcg brands but you could ask on the homeopathic thread.

My VLCD 1 and 2 were my 3rd and 4th day of HCG - I loaded on days one and two, with high fat and protein and vegetables. My TOM started I think the second day of loading, so I attributed the next 2 days of 0 loss to the after effects of TOM. If that makes sense...

My third round I used Nu image pellets and they work GREAT. My weight loss wasn't much but I did lose inches. I had an easier time with hunger on the pellets.

Grammy like I said I do love hcg and I have had no side effects. I have tried every other diet out there and nothing else has worked like this and my losses are considerably lower than most but they are still losses. Just a little worried about my brother who was close to 500 lbs when starting. He is doing great almost at 25 lbs in like 13 days! He is so happy because this is the only thing that has worked for him and he is not hungry. But he does complain he has no energy to do anything. I told him to up his protein at bit. He is doing a 40 day round. Do you think that might be too long for him? He is 52, has diabetes and high blood pressure (which he is medicated for) I just don't want him to lose any heart muscle but seriously 500 lbs is going to kill him anyway if he doesn't do something about it. I just don't want to be the one to steer him in the wrong direction.

Does anyone know of someone who had that much weight to lose and did so safely long term on hcg?

    Angry AZCentral article

I live in Arizona, and once in awhile I post comments if I am interested or feel like I have something intelligent to add. This article and the ignorance of the comment posters makes me so mad! I wish EVERYONE who believes in HCG and it's benefits should (if you have time) sign up and post. There were a few posters that had actually tried it, but mostly they are uninformed, misinformed, judgemental sheep. If you can it would be great for everyone to hear the many successes of this diet! I posted a couple of times.

    Thanks!

    KIM

Mary, this is what your brother needs! He's doing injections like you? If he has no hunger, he's on the right dose and is not losing muscle. He'll lose rapidly because of his size but that is good! He will want to monitor his blood sugar and adjust his meds if necessary. Is he being monitored by a doctor because of his diabetes?

knick, those ignorant posters made me mad too!
