Unhappy Wondering if Homeopathic drops work anymore

Hello, all I started Homeopathic HCG in 2014 and lost 60 pounds. During my first 2 rounds, I felt this crazy cold rushing through my body after about a week or so of taking the drops and it lasted throughout the diet. About a year later through my habitual bad eating habits, I started HCG again and still lost weight but never had the same feeling I did on the first rounds.

Over the past 9 years, I have attempted to start HCG again I am about 30-40 pounds over my perfect weight, and it seems that over the last 6 years, the homeopathic drops just don't work anymore. I am able to go about a week sticking to the 700-calorie protocol same as I did on round 2 and then on day7 or 9 I am hungry around 5:00 PM starving by 5:30 then I eat my dinner then about 7:30 I am really hungry again and it gets worse through the evening with nothing making me feel better until I eat off protocol not talking snack cravings just pure hunger. I also notice on those days that I struggle even if I stick to the diet I will gain a pound or lose nothing.

This week it happened on days 5,6 both hungry nights no cheats and 1.3 pounds gained each night, On day 7 lost 2 pounds but was hungry all day until late last night I broke down and ate.

It's so frustrating when you stick to the protocol and the drops fail, I could understand if this was a willpower issue like I craved a cheeseburger but it's no cravings just hunger.

I do the Triumph HCG drops with HCG in them. I drink 1 gallon of water every day. I do fat-free yogurt with strawberry for breakfast and 4oz raw protein and veg for lunch and dinner same as I have done since round 2 of HCG.

    Any ideas?

Dose can be off with homeopathic drops just like it can with RX ones.

Have you tried adjusting your dose?

Tomorrow, skip the first two doses and take note of your hunger level in the late afternoon. If hunger is raging by then, increase your dose by 2 drops for the third dose of the day. If you feel no or minimal hunger, then you would drop your dose by 2.

The starting dose for hhcg is often pretty low, so its not surprising to have to increase. But you always do the skip day because adjustment could need to go in the other direction.

Thank you for the info, sorry I am a little confused:

I have been perfect with hunger levels until days 5 and 6 with a slight tinge at night after dinner. Day 7 bad after lunch and starving after dinner so I ate non protocol foods.

I take 0.4 ml 3x a day as suggested by HCG Triumph. About 8 drops

You are saying tomorrow that I skip the first 2 doses if starving I would increase to 10 drops 3 times a day moving forward but if no hunger decrease to 6 drops 3x a day?

    Thank you

Yes, you read it exactly right. Each dose would either be increased by 2 drops, or decreased by 2 drops. I suspect that you will need to increase, as the usual starting dose is 10 drops 3X day. Triumph may think their product is more potent, but I guess we shall see.

Note that on the skip day, the only time hunger matters is late afternoon. What happens in the morning has no bearing on the test.

The hunger caused by a wrong dose is usually like hunger on steroids....it can even be painful. It sounds like you were experiencing something like that on day 7.

You might try a different hcg supplier, or a different form. I use InsideOutWellness.net pellets (1 per day) or their nasal spray, which is 5 sprays per day spaced out; so the daily dose is adjustable The spray doesn't go through your digestive system so may be more effective, and you don't have to wait before eating or drinking.

Leez, thank you for the info and fast replies.

So here is an update, on April 9th and 10th I had extreme hunger at night and had to eat. On April 11th after your reply I tried your plan.

    Morning no drops P2 Breakfast
    Afternoon no drops P2 Lunch
later afternoon not much hunger then around 4:30 I was starving and took 10 drops instead of 8 before dinner.
At night I was not hungry.

2 days now back on the plan with normal hunger levels. so may have been too few drops.

The only thing skewing the results are these factors.

    1. I am not hungry for breakfast and lunch most days with or without being on HCG.
    2. My starvation feelings don't generally start until after dinner around 8:00.
    3. Having had 2 cheat nights affects the way my hunger levels are for a couple of days just like I am not hungry at all for the first 3 days when starting P2

I fear that after another day or so will be the true test as to the adjusted drops working.

    Thank you

Thank you for the info gz9gjg, I have tried about 5 brands over the years some with HCG and some without, but I know some things changed in general with all of them as the FDA has been fighting these companies. With all the brands I have had successes and failures but more failures than successes over the last several attempts.

I don't think the brand is the issue in my case I think it's a dosing issue and finding balance, I have had issues with too many drops before also. It is hard to tell what the starvation trigger is at times.

It sounds like you made the right adjustment. If you find you still are having the same issue after tomorrow, you can increase another 2 drops per dose since we know you were under-dosing at 8 drops.

Starvation after eating is a prime indicator that dose is off.
