    Yes, its kind of like a reward. Since I'm usually feeling bloated going into a steak day, it sometimes is a relief to go most of the day without eating. I always feel like I can do anything for one day.

    I am really excited to see what happens on the scale tomorrow. I can't believe eating all that steak will help me lose weight. Should I have a bowel movement after the steak or in the morning? Im really curious as to how this works

    Hard to say. Its highly individual. I'd keep taking magnesium until things resolve.

    So I’m not at LIW but I did lose 2 lbs. Is that normal? Should I have another steak day? Or juts continue with p3 as normal?

    Two pounds is a good and fairly normal steak day loss. The point is to get you back in your window, and it looks like it did that.

    I've gotten a loss of 4+ pounds various times, but that has only been when the overnight gain was that large to begin with.

    You can't do 2 steak days in a row, as it is too hard on your body. You need to wait at least 4 days in between them. And if you are doing steak days twice a week, something is wrong. Even one a week is really too many. They stop working after a while.

    Some people follow their steak days with various methods in an attempt to lock in the losses. My experience with that is that it doesn't really work any better than just resuming P3 eating. Don't restrict calories, but do omit anything you suspect might have caused the gain. So stick to plain meats, veggies, good fats and a bit of fruit for a day or two and then proceed with any testing you wish to do.

    By this time, I've learned my problem foods, so I don't even try any of them in P3. It's fine to delay testing until you are in P4.

    I agree...I would just eat super clean. Good protein, veggies, good fats and maybe leave out things like dairy etc for a few days.

    Leez is right, you can even eat two steaks if you are hungry enough. Before I began having digestive issues with beef, I would do steak days and eat 24 or 32 oz porterhouse steaks and always lost 3-4 lbs.

    Speaking of which, even though I'm long-time P4, yesterday I was .8 above my limit, I had a Mocha Latte (non-dairy whipped cream with stevia sweetened chocolate syrup) for breakfast, 12-oz braised boneless beef ribs for lunch, and a fresh pineapple pea protein shake for dinner, and was down 1.2 lb. today. Even though this wasn't an official steak day (which no longer work for me), I still had a loss, so I'm happy with it!!

    Went from Size 14/16 at my heaviest to Size 2/4 now!!!

    Do you mean on a steak day or in P3 in general? If P3 in general, you will have to test it out for yourself but I wouldn't recommend it during week one of P3, but later is fine for these two nut butters for many people, just don't eat half a jar in one day
