Adjusting dosing with Nu Image, already mixed bottle

Grammy, I could use your help. I have Nu Image, powder hCG. I have already started injections, and so had mixed my bottle according to their instructionsó5ml only, not the 10 as Iíve seen you recommend to others here (I just came across this forum tonight). I realize now after reading through many posts that I am getting 200iu, and am very concerned that I could be setting myself up for failure. I am on VLCD2 now and extremely hungry. I suspect I may be too high, but am not at all sure how to adjust my dosage.

I was going to call Nu Image, but from what Iíve read, they donít suggest anything other than the 5ml/200iu dosing. Can you help me figure out how to adjust my dosage now that Iíve already mixed & used from my first vial, and so canít mix in 10000ml at this point?

    Thanks

Yes that's too high. You're taking 20 units? If so, drop it down to about 13 units.

Thanks for the help...I skipped the next day dose and then went down to 125 the following day. I seem to be doing well on that dose now. I'm so glad I found this forum and reached out for help! I didn't know how I was going to keep on with that level of hunger.

I'm so glad! for future reference we usually don't have you skip to adjust the dose when you're in the first 3 or 4 days of injections. But it worked for you so that's great!

    Good Morning,
I'm on Day 23 of my Nu Image injections; always take in the morning around 6 AM. My dose is 20. When I did this before, with my OB/GYN four years ago, my dose was only around 15 (if I remember correctly). I've been extremely hungry and have unfortunately went on a binger for 2 days. I'm so frustrated with myself because I was doing really well the first few weeks and then hunger struck big time. I'm curious if I should be reducing my dosage or increasing it.

I really want this to work but am getting seriously discouraged.

    Thoughts?

    Karen

hunger is a sign the dose is wrong. To find out which way wrong, you have to do a skip day.

I suspect you need to lower, so on your skip day, you should feel better by late afternoon to early evening. If that is what happens, lower your dose the next day. It sounds like you are on 200iu, which is too high for most people and causes hunger and poor losses. Can you confirm that is the dose?

If you have been very hungry the whole time, that is not good. It is a sign you are not losing the right kind of fat and may be losing muscle as well.

Hi, Yes 200 IU (20 units on the syringe). I will definitely do a skip day tomorrow and mix my 2nd bottle to prep for the following day. Do you have a suggestion on the new lower dose? I'm definitely not losing like I did 4 years ago. My goal is to get to 199 by the end of this month which I feel is very obtainable (I'm at 214 now) but not if I'm hungry all the time. Thank you!

I think it would be wise to drop to your known good dose of 150iu.

When you mix the new bottle, it would be good to mix in a 1:2 ratio (5000iu mixed with 10ml bacteriostatic water) That will make any other dose adjustment you may have to make easier to be accurate. NuImage an others recommend a very potent mix which is hard to adjust and you lose product left in the needle each time.

Here is a formula to check your math:
