Plumbum01, if you like how you are feeling now, you might want to consider lowering the carbs in your diet long-term. During P2, you have presumably been eating more animal protein sources such as meats, poultry, and fish. Those have so much more bio available, digestible protein than any plant food. Also the natural animal and fish fats have a much better Omega-3 to Omega-6 balance, because plants provide very little Omega-3. Unless you can't digest dairy, the natural fats in grass-fed butter and organic heavy cream are much better at keeping the O-3 to O-6 balance, than seed oils, or coconut / MCT oil. Just my opinion - I switched to keto after my first hcg round, and have been feeling much healthier since then.

Noted! Thank you! Maybe i'll try freezing the filled syringes, that way I can see how much of the solution I have in the first place. This is my first round so 6 weeks of waiting it is (though im going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that with the P3 diet and running I can fit into my clothes the way I want!) I still have 4 lipovite shots, one of which I took this morning, and I just took my last b12 shot this morning.

thank you for sharing gz9gjg! That makes complete sense! Im very interested in seeing how this low carb/higher fat diet goes for me in P3. The problem is that my taste buds just tend to prefer beans, lentils and tofu over meat. *BUT* im not giving up, I made a thai red curry with skin-on and bone-in chicken breast along with some veggies and it turned out SO good. Ate it with cauliflower rice. When you eat mainly keto how do you ensure you're getting adequate fiber? Through your veggies? Do you not consume any beans (no hummus for example?) or do you just eat less of them?

I can't wait until I finish P3 so I can go back to my daily beans, and lentils, and soy curls!! I forgot how nice it is to wash dishes and not have the grease everywhere. My dad has severe heart disease so I learned to cook no oil, meat for him and his protein levels are fantastic. I felt better eating that way too. Only went off for the HCG to be most effective with losses as I had 100lbs to lose. I do take Vegan Omega 3's daily and B12 external oil and happy to resume on P3. Our bodies are so different, we each have to find what works for us.

Plumbum1, I take psyllium husk capsules in the morning. I do not eat starchy beans or lentils, and I avoid all forms of soy. Also no bread, rice or cereal. I eat whole eggs with butter, heavy cream in my coffee, nuts, cheeses, and berries for snacks; salads with chicken or other meats, fish, and meat stews, as well as plain meats. For me, vegetables are flavorings, not whole servings. This has reversed my type 2 diabetes, and my health has never been better. And I have maintained my hcg weight loss, though I occasionally do a round for vanity.

Good morning Dubbles, nice to see you back! How has your maintenance gone? I'm up 2# that I can't seem to get rid of, but I won't do another round for a few weeks to avoid immunity.

Hi Leez! Im exactly a week into P3. Im trying to eat more fatter foods but honestly my stomach is having issues. Im not sure if its from the fatter foods or general hormonal shifts from being 4 months postpartum. I also don't have any appetite really. Which is ironic bc the last 2 days on P1 I was starving, stomach growling, headaches, dizziness. I also don't have cravings for crappy food so what I have been eating has been pretty nutritious and Ive avoided starchy carbs as recommended. All I want is coffee lol Any thoughts on this?

Oh, also, is it true that this protocol makes you lose hair? For some reason I remember my hair being super full and shiny when I did it 9 years ago. My skin was glowing too. But ive been reading on this forum that people lose hair?

After the first week of P3, you can back down from the fats some as long as you are eating enough, which should be comfortable by week 2. That might help with stomach issues. Also some digestive enzymes with your meals may help. I like papaya enzyme, or a multi formula that contains oxbile.

Hairloss is common postpartum. Most women's hair gets thicker during pregnancy and the extra will shed afterward. That is more likely what is going on. Some people do have hair loss with HCG, but I suspect it is not so much the HCG that causes it as some underlying deficiency that is magnified by the diet. You can take collagen and biotin to help with hair health.

Plumbum01, the best rule is to eat to satiety and not beyond. I generally ease into my fats in P3, I think our gall bladders get little use in P2 and they need to get back into regular use. By the end of P3 I'm generally eating my regular foods, including fats, with no issues.

Without knowing how your HCG was mixed, it is impossible to determine what dose you are on, but it sounds like it may be too high. We can't properly recommend a change until we know what you are actually taking. But the wrong dose can cause severe hunger AND poor losses.

Please find out what dose you are taking in IUs, and we can proceed from there.

For now, skip your dose tomorrow and report back what your hunger level is like in the late afternoon to early evening . (This assumes you are dosing in the morning.)
So....does Grammy check in at all anymore? Anybody know how she is doing?
