Okay, I wanted to see the ranges to make sure it was like the test I'm familiar with and it is. This is mostly likely the underlying cause of your low thyroid function. Your adrenals are in the toilet. Your morning cortisol should be near the top of the range which is 22. You would benefit from taking an adrenal supplement in the morning and see how you start feeling. This is the one I take and it's really helped me. https://www.restartmed.com/product/t...roduct_reviews

Ok- I ordered the supplement. I also had reverse T3 test yesterday and should have results in a couple of days. Will share when I do. Thanks so much for your help!

Awesome! Let me know how you feel after a week or two on it. I actually had tons more energy in about three days.

Hi Grammy! Just wanted to touch base about the adrenal supplement. I took them for a couple of weeks and unfortunately they made me very depressed. I’m pretty sure it’s the L-tyrosine that is in them. For some reason that supplement works well for most people and ironically, helps with depression, but it does the exact opposite for me- it makes me horribly depressed. I stopped and started the adrenal supplements a couple of times to make sure. I would feel better then worse when I took them.

AlsoGot the results from reverse T3 test, it was 16.4. Ferritin is 43

Well how disconcerting! You might look for some without it.

Did you check your iron? It needs checked too not just ferritin.Your ferritin can be low and you're still okay if your iron is ok. It looks like you have some reverse T3 going on which blocks the T3 from getting to your cells. Do you have a doctor who would prescribe some T3 (cytomel) to try?

My iron is 118. I don’t really have a doctor, but was thinking of doing a consultation with dr freeze based on your recommendation of her. I know she is naturopathic, so is she able to prescribe T3?
