Thread: Concerns re: pre-mixed HCG

    Question Concerns re: pre-mixed HCG

I did the original protocol 10 years ago and am going to do Grammy's long round protocol this time. I'm trying to find HCG online, and I'm really torn--after a lot of looking, it seems my only two choices are ReliableRx (I used them when I did it last time), which could mean I don't start for a month due to covid-related shipping and processing delays; or Diet Doctor, which could have me starting in as little as three days, but comes pre-mixed. I saw they have Pregnyl, but I'm not in one of the states where they will let me purchase it.

I've had it ingrained in me that you need to mix your own HCG to make sure it stays fresh and potent, so I'm struggling with this pre-mixed solution and worried it isn't going to be potent enough when I get past day 30. What have others' experiences been?

That's interesting. I didn't realize DietDoc had moved to a pre-mixed product. But its not really clear to me if it is really premixed with bacteriostatic water, or if there is some additive included in the HCG powder. You might open the chat on their website and ask about that. Its not opening for me, currently.

I would be leary of pre-mixed HCG as well.

Search: ColinFWatson hcg. He has several HCG brands available. His products are good and prices reasonable.

You'll have to search, as if I post the link it will redirect to a parked page....a website glitch that hasn't been fixed yet.

Thanks so much, Leez; I ended up going with Colin. I kept looking around and discovered TelewellnessMD, but they no longer have HCG (it's listed, but once you click on it, you get an error page that says it is no longer part of their catalog).

I wouldn't have even known, except in my research I ended up on another site, HCGChica, where she goes into great length discussing how they are now pre-mixing their solution. People seem to still be getting good results, but I'm far too much a control freak to not mix my own. This is what it said on her site:

NO NEED TO MIX HCG ANYMORE! HERE'S HOW IT MAINTAINS POTENCY PRE-MIXED:
The new pharmacy that Diet Doc is utilizing sends out pre-mixed HCG- if it maintains it’s potency, what a benefit! Not having to mix hCG anymore & potentially mess it up. This used to be a big concern for me regarding maintaining potency however. Diet Doc & I checked into this to understand.
Here is what this particular pharmacist has to say about why the way he mixes HCG beforehand is still effective:
“We make fresh batches of hCG every time for new orders. We add a stabilizer into the solution so the peptides maintain stability even with heat and light. We don’t use the lyophilization process.” 1) Do the HCG injections ever need to be refrigerated and what happens if the patient places the hCG in the fridge? “If refrigerated…it will last them for 6 months & if at room temp, it will last them for 28 days”
Yes, it is shipped uncooled. And it says to refrigerate to prolong it’s shelf life. If not refrigerated, the life of the hCG is about 28 days, but once placed in the cold (i.e. fridge) it will last up to 6 months.
“I have spoken with the pharmacy about their medication(s) and some of the concerns I have been seeing this morning. The pharmacy’s hCG (and also their peptides such as: MIC, MIC/B12, Sermorelin, Ipam/CJC) comes premixed. It can be stable at room temperature for 28 days and 6 months in the fridge. It is delivered at room temp through regular mail. Once the patient stores their medications in the fridge, it will be stable for 6 months. The pharmacy uses a stabilizer in the peptides as well as an amber bottle as this will prevent the peptides from breaking down/heat resistance/photosensitivity. Prime does not use a clear glass bottle like other pharmacies (we or the patient’s are used to) because the others’ peptides don’t have the stabilizer that Prime uses; therefore, it can break down faster. I hope this information is helpful to you as I know this is much different than we are all used to, but seems promising in that we will also avoid mixing errors and the occasional accidental leaving hCG out of the fridge and requesting a replacement.”
I hope this helps those of you have the same concerns as me, essentially they have a different process from other pharmacies for making their hCG that allows the hormone to maintain it’s potency when pre-mixed, which is great because now you don’t have to mix it yourself!

Thanks for posting that information. I guess we'll see as people use it how it really holds up.

Not lyphilized is a big change in HCG storage practices.

Hello - what is the Long Protocol? And, what did you purchase from collin? I am also considering a redo from 10 years past. Diet doctor seems more $ than back then, but I mixed everything myself and probably didn't factor the cost of needles/ water, etc.

Kay D, you are right that it is much more expensive now in the US. They keep making new laws that make it harder for suppliers to sell the product. There was a big change that went through in the spring of this past year that resulted in a major price hike. For a while, it was even looking like HCG would not be obtainable once the new regulations kicked in.

The long round in the protocol is 40 dose days. The shorter round is minimum 23 dose days or longer.

Colin is selling a more affordable product which still has to be mixed as you remember.
