    Day 19 and hungry

    Hi All,
First time poster but a long time lurker. On day 19 and I have been hungry all day. I "m on 150 ius where I have had a great round, lost 16lbs so far. I am on injections. If I am thinking right, I should skip tomorrow and see how I feel tommorrow night? I am also stalled for 2nd day. I am thinking right? Just want to complete my round and go to phase 3. Thanks for all the great info here.

Grammy would definitely suggest you skip a day to see if you need to lower your dose. You have lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short time so it is natural to not show any loss for a few days The stall is normal and usually occurs the 3rd week. If you feel less hungry after a skip you might consider a slightly lower dose

Yes that's exactly what you should do. You may need to lower your dose now. It's common. A stall is normal in the 2nd or 3rd week, but you're not even in a stall yet. A stall is 4 or more days at the same weight. You won't lose every day. Great losses!

I am new to injections. Could you please explain the concept of skipping a day? I am curious...what does it do? Also my brain cannot seems to wrap around the fact we need to "LOWER" our dose if we are hungry instead of "RAISE" the dosage lol. Sorry....not new to the diet but definitely new to injections. I came from patch. One more question while i am at it. I had a total of 47 lbs to lose. I have lost 13.8 lbs of that so far in the first 5 days. Is it too soon to make the decision to buy another injection round kit of 28 days? Am I going to need the second round? I am thinking yes but i have not slowed yet in loss so have to wonder. Also I am speaking with my sister and we were trying to figure out what is making me lose so fast. We chalked it up to the bodies weight memory? When i did patches over a year ago...I stabilized at approx. 175 lbs and stayed there awhile. Does the body remember this and automatically head towards the last "registered" body weight? Sounds dumb but our bodies are machines don't forget

Skipping a day is in the protocol, Pounds and Inches. Have you read that? That's the real protocol. It helps prevent immunity so you can go 40 injections. If you're doing a short round, you do't have to skip. You won't lose 47 pounds in one round. You're not supposed to lose more then 34 either. The protocol says a dose too high causes the opposite effect so that's why 90% of the time if there is hunger, the dose is too high. Your body will want to go to its set point.

Thanks Grammy for clarifying that. I did read pounds and inches a long time ago when i first started patches. I probably should revert back to it now that i am doing the "real" stuff. So if i decide to extend my round from 28 days to 52 days...am i ok to just continue? In essence i would just buy myself another 28 day round and mix it once this round of hcg is done. So you are saying just stay at the 150 from now to the end unless of course hunger strikes. Am I right?

No you can't go 52 days. 40 injections is the very maximum. If you skip an injection per week, that would be about 46 days. Yes you stay at the same dose unless you have hunger issues.
