    expiration question

Grammy! I am so happy to see you are still here!

I just found an ampule of Hucog, freeze dried, that expired fall of 2016.... think it's still good? It's been in the dark, fairly cool area - never hot by any means.

It's hard to say. It very well be good. You could give it a try and see if you can feel it working. Usually get really nauseous during loading and just don't want to eat at all. That's how I know my hcg is working.

Most pharmaceuticals are good long after the expiration date, often years. I would expect this to be true of HCG as well, especially the freeze-dried form.

I've been doing some research on it, and there is evidence to suggest that you can freeze the unmixed vial for an indeterminate time. The vials come with a "do not freeze" label. However, I've found some information that suggests that as long as you don't defrost it more than once, and let it slow-defrost in the refrigerator, the delicate peptides seem to survive that. So I'll just throw that out there for what it's worth.

If you decide to use it, as Jmmrr said, look for the signs that tell you its working.
