Sarah, if you were STARVING Saturday afternoon, its not your willpower that is the problem. You should never be starving on HCG.
Happy Monday everyone. Im here and hanging in… but super bummed with myself…I had a very hard weekend. I felt STARVING Saturday afternoon. My does is 150 and have always felt good there… but I just couldn't get motivated to do anything but hang out on the couch and pop chocolate chips! OMG I didn't even care! Then yesterday I went to the beach with my six year old and packed myself my protocol food, ate it and was feeling good, then got bored and started nibbling on her crackers… So by the time I got home yesterday I was so irritated with myself i said EFF it and ate some more chocolate and sweedish fish I found in the freezer (left over from our wedding). back on track this morning and Im not even going to weigh myself until like Friday because I KNOW I did damage. This can be such a mind game and it truly does teach you so much about yourself if you pay attention and are willing to learn. Im learning Im WEAK lol. I want it so bad but am not sure why I felt so early on that I had to sabotage myself but I did. pure evil sabotage. I don't hate myself so Im frustrated! I want this off so badly but maybe Im learning Im not willing to do these extremes anymore to get what I want… sad sad day...

Thanks Leez. I adjusted my dose slightly this morning. Maybe that will help. I felt like I do before I start my period. Like I could eat a whole cow and the. Dessert lol. And once I start its hard to stop. Today is a new day and so far so good.
Did you do a skip day yesterday? You can't really find out which way to adjust your dose unless you have done that. Just moving it around isn't very efficient in figuring it out. You waste a lot of time, because it takes 3 days before you know if you went the right direction.

Good afternoon everyone! We had snow last week and I ended up working from home and then I usually don't get online much on the weekends but I'm back. Been reading thru the posts and getting caught up. I'm on VCLD#7, so far a little over 6 pounds. Someone mentioned in a early post about sleeping better. I have definitely been sleeping better also. There were two nights in a row that I didn't wake up once until about 4am. I usually wake up around 1am and then again around 4am. but I have been sleeping really sound which is nice. I hope everyone has a good rest of the day. Will be checking back in tomorrow.
Hi everyone! I just received my package this afternoon. I am ready to get started!
I will load tomorrow and Wednesday. Weird to be starting in middle of week I guess. But I can't wait any longer. I am so uncomfortable from the weight I've gained. I've put on about 40 lbs over the last year- with the last 20 being put on rapidly. I have depression tendency and went through a really bad time. Was trialed on several meds which did not help with the weight gain that's for sure. I bought fromUSHCG injections. 2 vials which I think is good for 50+ days. Not sure if I should do a long round or two short rounds. Any thoughts?
I have been working out recently and have been an active person for most of my adult life. Based on what I've been reading seems like I can continue some exercise. That's my plan- 3 days a week. We will see wht happens.
I thought tomorrow I could do a little kitchen prep and maybe precook some chicken breasts and pre cut some veggies. Thinking of ways to make it more convenient with food and less likely to grab something I shouldn't.
I'd love to stay connected with y'all that have recently started in Feb and March. I need all the support I can get!
Just to review with someone. My vials are 5000 unit vials. I should mix with 10cc bacteriostatic water right? And start out at 150. So I would draw up to 0.3 CC on the syringe. Just want to recheck my calculation.
Any support and encouragement is welcome!
hey tadrumm--welcome!
There is no bad day of the week to start. We just start when we start!
You are going to love how you feel on HCG. There is a remarkable "feel good" side effect of this hormone. Its likely your depression will improve too.
You should definitely do a long round your first time. Your first round is almost always the best one for losses. It will really show you what the program can do for you, and you'll have the best chance of getting a good setpoint reset and stabilization afterwards. (and probably your easiest P3) However, a long round is not 50 days. Its 40 injections, and 2 of them are administered on your loading days. You have to stop after 40 in order to avoid immunity. Because in a long round, you skip a day every week, the round ends up being about 46 days long (with the load and 72 hours without HCG afterwards) That's plenty long...you'll be mentally ready to be done by then for sure!
There is a formula posted here that you can use to check your math: I Can't Find Scott's Mixing Formula for Injections...HELP!
@pdawnfloyd: wow, I wish I had that better-sleeping side effect! I haven't slept through a whole night in years. But alas, no joy for me in that area.

You really must try making chili....it is delish. I buy 97% 2 lbs at a time. I cook it up and cut maybe three or four nice big tomatoes. I add tomatoes, seasoning and red cayenne pepper. Let it simmer for a while. Once it's almost done I ad 2-3 packet of stevia. Let it simmer a little more. So good and satisfying. I know it's not on protocol but if I feel like I need a little more I throw some shredded lettuce in a bowl and add the chili. Viola... Instant taco salad and its very tasty. Have not stalled at all when doing this. Central Valley, huh... I'm in Mo-town, where are you?? Oh, and as for Saturday ... Well I thought I blew it, but to my surprise I actually lost. I thought maybe I over did it on the meat at my Tia's party. They had shredded beef so I had that and lettuce for making a salad and plenty of water. No problem... Down 1.4 the next morning. It's my sons birthday today and all I can think of is that cake you can get at Costco...yeah the chocolate one. We are going to dinner and so far this round seems to be my best so I am so determined to stay on plan. I only have 17 days left so wish me luck chicas.😀
Leez, do you know how it works when taking drops? How many days (including loading days) that I take the drops? I believe Granny said that one does NOT skip when taking the drops. I'd like to write on my calendar when my last day of drops is & also when my last day of VLCD (I believe I continue another 72 hrs after stopping the drops) and I want to write down when I start P3. Thanks if anyone can help me with my dates. LOL
My loading days were Feb 28 & Mar 1
My VLC Day 1 was Mon, March 2nd

I don't think it's necessarily off protocol if you count the tomatoe as your fruit. Then the lettuce is your veggie. I really really wish that being on Protocol meant that you could cook up your food FIRST and THEN measure it out. It would make cooking (especially for two people on the hcg program) SO much EASIER!
Ignore that cake! I keep reminding myself: "You've restricted what your diet for 8 days now. If you take a "taste" of that ______, it's going to make those restricted days you followed the plan, null & void. Do you REALLY want to do that?" Then I cut up some celery and eat that as a snack. Even if I "go over" my 500 calories, that's a LOT of celery pieces I'd have to eat for it to compromise me.
