lisa, no prep before P2 is necessary. I'd just wait to start until the pain is better and you can eat the right foods.
Gary, I suspect the hunger is the problem with stabilizing. Whatever you lost during that period of hunger is trying to come back. Try cutting out dressings with soybean oil in them. Make sure you're eating enough too.

Just wondering why I am so freezing cold when I am taking my HCG? Once I was into P3/4 I was never cold but now that I am back on it for round 2 I am freezing all the time again. Is this normal?
Question about skip days. Now that I have my dose right, during and after each skip it seems as if my body takes 3 days to recover. I feel really good, then i do a skip and its like I am hungry for the next 3 days. Could I just be really sensitive to the hcg? I'm doing a 40 day round, do I need to skip?

I have skipped my dose today. I am not hungry yet. I had a hard-boiled egg at 10am and lettuce and chicken breast at lunch at 1.30. It is now 3.30 pm. So, if I am not hungry today should I just keep dose tomorrow the same and does that mean that I will still do 40 injections? But it will just take me longer?

Hey Grammy, so glad your here. This is round 3 for me and I am having hunger problems. I did skip a day and was hungry so I upped my shot to .32, the next day I was so hungry it hurt. So today dropped back down to the .31 not sure what to do. It's also been 2 weeks since I've had a loss. I am stuck at my LIW from round 2. Today is my 32 day. What do you think I should try? I was going to do the 40 injections, I still have quite a bit of Hcg left since I do my skip days and only at .31 dose. I want to keep going but if the stall keeps up and the hunger keeps going not sure if I can!!
Breakfast: Coffee and lemon water
Lunch: I weigh and cook my chicken or burger the night before
asparagus or cucumbers and an orange or apple with cinnomon.
Dinner: same as above. Some times I add the melba toast.
I also have hot tea at bed time.
I did try a mini steak day to help break the stall and it did not work also tried to skip melba also skipped fruit and add veggies that did not work eather. Now I'm just sooo hungry.
Please help if you can.

I am on VLCD 5 of my first round. I am doing it from Australia under a doctor who has given me prefilled syringes of 150IU HCG. So far i have noticed if i give myself the dose at around 10.30am i am fine, any earlier and i start to get quite hungry in the evening. I dont feel i have lost much weight. I have lost a total of 2kgs from my weight after the big binge! I gained 2 so really have lost nothing.
I am losing heart as i am pretty hungry most of the time and have had a very hard week with 4 sick children and some sleeplessness! My 2kg converts to about 4.4lb - does that sounds right to you? I am on Armour thyroid as well as Hysone (cortisone). I have stuck to protocol strictly and the only thing is that i have occasionally had the same meat for lunch and dinner.
Please tell me i am going to get better losses than this???

Would you have any suggestions as to what i can do to mitigate my creeping weight gain in in p4? i'm 4.2lbs over ldw which all started with exercising. I thought alot of it was water weight but alas that isnt so -- according to my tape measurements i'm up 1/2inch in my waist and an inch in my thighs. I eat p3 and have no immediate plans to add back carbs. I've decided (as of today) to layoff the p90x and stick to light exercises until i can get this under control, do know what else I can do? I'm extremely frustrated and borderline feel like just giving because i feel like i have no control over my own body. Pre-hcg when i was upset i would eat and it's taking all my willpower right now not to say screw it and stuff my face with food that i know isnt good for me

Well I am down 2 pounds from taking your advice and doing the Leptin diet and stopped the peanut butter and cream cheese. I am still 1 pound above my LDW, but am ok with that. I am sticking to his 5 rules and his menu. I like it because I don't have to eat the snacks during the day since I am so busy at work. Thanks again. and you are so helpful. I really appreciate all your help. I am not going to do another correction day and just see how it goes with me eating the Leptin way. Here is my menu:
Breakfast around 7am: 2 scrambled eggs, 1 flax muffin with butter and sugar free jam, 1/2 c berries, and a cup of coffee. I didn't eat the walnuts as they make me gain.
Lunch and Dinner: Chicken breast or lean steak 6-8 oz, 1 c cooked vegetable, salad with sugar free Ceasar dressing, seasonings, and 1/2 cup berries, strawberries or 1 sm apple.
Today I am having a Herbalife shake at a nutrition place due to not having time to bring my lunch. I hope this is ok?

I just got my blood test results back from the lab. I was found to be slightly anemic. Also I have a serious Vitamin D deficiency for which my doctor has prescribed 50,000 Units of D per week for 6 weeks then tapered off to 50,000 units per month for 3 months and so on. The blood work was done on the 3rd to last day of my first round of HHCG while eating 500 cal per day of course. (42 day round) My doctor was none to pleased to learn during my pre-lab work visit that I was using Homeopathic HCG. (She rolled her eyes and said, "on 800 calories a day you would have lost weight anyway". LOL I did not dare to correct her and tell her it was 500 calories! ...My question regarding this is: Have you known of people that tested anemic due to the low calories during Phase II? or low Vitamin D?
Also, I am scheduled for a colonoscopy next month and will be in R2P2. I will have to fast and drink whatever stuff they give me in order to have the scope. How does one proceed with this while on HCG?
I feel that HCG has been a Godsend for me. I lost 29 lbs in my first round P2 and am stabilizing just fine in P3. I have about 60 more lbs to go to reach my goal. I figure this will take 2 or 3 more rounds. I am worried that all this medical testing will interfere and can't bare that possibility. I had been negligent in my Medical Care for quite a few years since I am generally healthy but thought it wise to not neglect it any longer.

shannon, that's normal for most people on hcg.
jamey, it might be that your dose is a smidge low if when you skip you are hungrier for a few days.
texas when your dose is better on a skip day, that always means you should lower your dose.
deb, what dose is that? is 30 units 150? You're probably still too high. Try 27 units or so.
