    All you can do is start eating right, Cindie. There's no magic bullet except sheer determination to follow through every morning when you wake up.     Grammy. This has never happened to me before. I have no appetite and still have a snack and dinner. Chicken leg quarter. 2 drumsticks. Half cup berries. Spinach salad w olive oil. Tomato onion and cucumber. Do I just get it down or stop when full? I'm really confused. Thanks Grammy!

    Did I hinder my entire round

    Hi! I have read so many of your posts in the past. I'm hoping you can help me.
    In a nutshell I successfully did 1 round last year with homeopathic drops losing 17 lbs and stabilizing very well. I was amazed at how good I felt and how the weight came off evenly.
    I returned to working out and taking supplements. I hurt my back in December. A medication the dr gave to me, I had a bad reaction too and my weight went out of control. I couldn't stabilize.
    Knowing I'm going away in April, I decided to do another round. I didn't have as much to lose, but it was more about stabilization.
    I failed 2x's trying the same homeopathic drops I used last year( I couldn't make it past day 2) and gained a few more lbs.
    Out of despair, I went to the local medi weight loss spa. I'm on day 20 VLCD. I weighed in this am and in total I am down 9 lbs. I should be happy, but I don't feel the same as I did last year. I haven't lost evenly over my body. I can barely pull my jeans over my hips! (I remember how good that felt to do with ease last year!). My weight dropped but not my bodyfat. I don't know how accurate the scales and printouts are.

    I came home and was racking my brain to see if I was missing something... I think I figured it out but I'm not sure... Those supplements I was taking while working out eating fairly healthy... I never stopped taking them... I guess just thinking they were ok or would even boost along my process. Well one of them is cla80 femme. It's derived 100% from safflower oil!!!!
    I'm so sick to my stomach! Did the continuation of taking this hinder my round and overall weight loss?
    I would appreciate any information or input you could give me

    Hi Grammy,
    This is my 3rd time at this. I lost 38lbs about 4 years ago. I lost half a lb a day like clockwork. Everything was usual and no big surprises..
    What do you think when you see numbers like this?? The first 2 day stall what from eating ground steak I think. I'd never eatten that on HCG before.

    that's 4.4 lbs in 10 days... I was at 165lb for several years (not dieting). Maybe this is one of those times when the body is trying to get past a certain familiar weight. I drink all my water and just do chicken fish cuke and tomato, nothing creative and i'm not hungry but get butterflies once in a while so I just drink some water. I do drink a red fruity sun tea alot too that is from tea bags. I put stevia and lemon juice in it..it's good. Isn't it a little early in the game to be stalling like this?? Maybe it's some twisted lesson in patience from the Universe...What do you think??

    Hi Grammy,

    Thanks for all of your help thus far! While I am feeling better for the most part (my illness never really developed into a cold or the flu), I still am somewhat tired, especially by late afternoon/early evening and have pretty low energy in the evening. For example, when I go for my evening walk, I poop out really quickly even though I am not walking briskly. I am still taking my pilates classes a 2-3x week but I definitely notice that I don't have nearly the stamina as I did before. I know to take it easy with the exercise while on HCG, so I am definitely listening to my body, taking breaks and going at my own pace. I had a dry massage today to help with toxins and aches in general, which felt good. On a sidebar, my weight loss has been phenomenal, as I am on vlcd7 and I've already lost 14 lbs! I expect a stall any day now since my losses have been so strong but that is ok. I only want to lose about another 6-10 lbs anyways but inches are more important to me! Yesterday I did notice when I looked in the mirror that my face looked different, slimmer and I was pleased and my clothes are already fitting better! Hunger has not been an issue and I have been following protocol to the T. I've only had one grissini (last night) and think I can handle just indulging in one just occasionally.

    Do you have any idea why I am tired/weak? I wouldn't say I am lethargic, just unusually tired beginning in the early evenings. I do have trouble getting out of bed in the morning too but it is more of a "I don't want to get up" vs "can't get up." Sleep has been good otherwise.

    Hello Joline,

    I read that you been on the paleo diet for two years and I was wondering whether other programs affect the HCG diet or our ability to be successful.
    Personally, shortly before this HCG round, I went through a detox cleansing diet and was worried that it would mess up my metabolism and affect my results with HCG
    Maybe it is best to stick to the hcg program as a weight management tools for life.
    Did anyone else try other programs between rounds ?

    If you're still in Arizona you might like to know it's starting to warm up here in Indiana!
    I have 2 questions. 1. What is the longest I can do a round..how many days. I know most information is 40 days but is 46 possible? Also is it absolutely necessary to wait 6 months between round 5 and 6? I went 13 months between round 4 and 5. Is the only danger for both too many days and too close together becoming immune to HCG? Thanks!!

    Lolo, it might have. But what dose were you on from the clinic? If it's a high dose, that might have hindered your losses even more.

    Your losses are very poor, Zelda. What does the label of your hcg read? I usually only see losses that poor from fake drops or a dose that's off. Stalls are normal and you were lucky you didn't have any the first time so the biggest concern is your poor losses.

    Cheeky, your fatigue is likely from losing so fast. Your electrolytes might be off. Try some potassium and magnesium. Also try some sea salt in warm water.

    Jeri, glad it's warming up back home! We're Indiana bound in two weeks. If you're skipping a day a week you can go about 46 or 47 days which is 40 injections. Since you waited over a year before doing more rounds, you can probably get by with 8 weeks. Good luck!

    I'm currently taking Natural Calm (magnesium) each night as a hot beverage before bed since it helps me sleep and with being regular. I also drink electrolyte water when I am at home but at work, it is just plain Sparklette's. I use pink Himalayan sea salt when I cook but maybe I should still add some to warm water to drink? How much do you suggest? I will buy some potassium capsules tomorrow. Thanks!

    Ask Grammy

    Hi Grammy I was going to mix my hcg this morning and I just read that the dried powder is supposed to be refrigerated. I didn't know that. It's been here in my house for less than a week. Totally bummed! Did I mess up? I just assumed since it came in the mail that it was stable in that form. I have 1 more shot from the doctor and I could just use that today. However, Those are the ones that I've had for about a week and a half. Not sure if the potency is going down


    Also wondering if the mixing instructions for subq on the sticky are still correct. I know the post is from 2011. Thx

    Cheeky, do 1/2 tsp of salt in a glass of warm water.

    It's fine that your hcg was left out, shining. As a general rule, we advise storing it in the fridge but it certainly didn't hurt it to have it out a few days.. Yes the mixing instructions are accurate. We would have taken them down if they weren't.
