I'm so sorry about your broken foot! I've done that myself multiple times. The increase right now IS due to edema so try not to worry about it. And I think you need to not stress so much about sticking to that LIW because all those correction days are going to harm your thyroid. You shouldn't cut your carbs down so drastically long term. Make sure you're eating enough fruits and veggies to keep your carb count at least at 50. I like 75 better in general. Good luck!

Thank you so much. I have been worried about my carbs. I am tired of constantly eating protein, protein, protein for the past weeks. I do miss my veggies and fruit and I have just been so focused on constantly correcting to get it all the way back down to 146 that I felt it wasn't right. I am glad to hear it is okay to adjust the LIW. Thank you!!

I am hoping that you can help me figure out the best thing to do Grammy. I am currently on P2 day 17. I had planned on just doing a 23 day round since I'm trying to lose about 15 lbs. I've had a very slow round and so far have lost only 7 lbs. I'm taking sublingual RX drops. Anyway, I miscalculated on an upcoming trip. My last HCG day would be next Tuesday. I'm flying on that day and will be gone for a week. I will not have much choice on what I eat while I'm gone. I'm wondering if I could stop the drops on day 20, let the HCG get out of my body and then do a planned interruption and pick up the HCG again when I get back and just do a longer round. I'm thinking this might do less damage then staying on HCG and trying to stay true to Phase 2 while I'm gone those first few days when I'm pretty sure I won't have the food available to me that I will need to eat. Basically, thinking eating P3 as best I can might be a better option. What do you think? Thanks!!

You really need to be ON hcg 23 days before you take an interruption. this includes loading so if you will have been on 23 days, that will work. But if you won't, I would stay on the full 23 days and do the best I could while gone, then go back on for a few days to lose any gain you might have had.

I am experimenting at this stage with my doses to see what is best for me, taking in the sum of all the advice i have found on here. when i did the 8 drops 3 / day i still had issues. so for now, i am going to try an extra dose at midnight to see if this helps. today i took 6 at breakfast, seven at lunch and i'll do another two doses before bed. at this stage, i am also asking my body what it needs each time i dose. note, im always 100% fine during the day; nightime has been the issue. i'll try keep it around 24-25 drops per day and see how this extra dose helps me. please feel free to comment at your will.

Thank you. I figured as much. I'll make the best of it. I'm one who usually follows through to the very end and always stays on track so I hate knowing that I won't be able to.

slimshady, it takes at least 2 days to be able to tell if a new dose is working. Jockeying it all around makes it impossible to know what is working so you really need to stick with one thing for at least 2 days to tell. Being up all hours is going to increase your hunger too. Sleep is SUPER important for weight loss. the research on this just keeps continuing to roll in. You really should be in bed by 10 for best losses and best health. Otherwise you get a fresh shot of cortisol that totally throws off your sleep schedule.

Thanks so much Grammie, i know about the sleep and i do get to bed very early. unfortunately, I have been suffering is why i am up. It seems as if my body has been experiencing an auto-immune attack. its been painful and trying. it's a bit more manageable on the steroid but it isnt knocking it all out as i'd hoped. every day is a new day and i hope tonight will be the lucky charm of re-setting all this. at this stage, i have to work with my own body and read it's own signs it was good advice that i got on this. experienced guidance is always helpful as well. thanks again. i may just have good days and bad days. i do feel the meds i am on now will help break the cycle. they seem to boost my adrenals and reduce other symptoms in addition to my skin. i felt good today overall, despite no rest.

The steroid might be keeping you up. My hubby is on it right now for poison ivy and he's not sleeping well. You might try some melatonin at night or even Benedryl.
