Cabbage is gassy, period! I eat mostly cabbage, spinach and chard..cabbage by far causes the most bloat and gassy feeling, but I love it!

If you're losing fine with it, I'd keep it in. it's my go-to veggie on P2.

bella, it's 26 injections. Make sure you read Pounds and Inches. That's the real protocol
I read that it is 23 days of injections but 26 days for round.
"The diet is arranged in such a way that the weight remains perfectly stationary and is thus continued for three days after the 23rd injection. Only then are the patients free to eat anything they please except sugar and starches for the next three weeks."
I am going to extend the 23rd injection to day 30, after that I assume it's not active. I have enough left from this round to give it a little more time. Hope it works for me.

Hi Grammy...not sure what to do, I'm feeling awful. The second batch I mixed was no good (Hyhcg). I've done 27 days and have been constantly hungry. I've done skip days, reduced fruits, etc..stalled for over 12 days then a .5 drop. I stopped drops today because I just can't do this anymore. It's evening and I am so dizzy and weak and starving. I don't think I can do this VLCD for 72 hours.

Question 1. Should I eat more protein?

Question 2: have I been starving myself because it was bad and my stalls were because I was in starvation mode? If so will I gain fast in P3? How would you proceed?

    Thanks so much!

Yes that's right, Cindle. So sorry! I had a typo. I'm seriously exhausted. LOL I actually never recommend going less than 30 injections for stability myself though.

Tiki, you did the right thing. It sounds like the hcg was no good. I'd eat normal P3 immediately. Just be careful because yes, you may regain some.

    Hi Grammy and friends,

Great news! I am at the high range of my goal weight. I dropped all the 4 pounds from my daughters hospital food week must have been a lot of salt water weight or inflammation. Kansas you were right, drinking more water was important. Thank you!

Grammy, I am going to go 2 to 3 pounds under my high goal just to have a cushion for P3 and P4. 3 pounds lower is my college/high school weight, and my super secret goal weight. What do you think of having a cushion?

Thank you for all your help and support.

Hi Grammy! Boy am I confused now!! I go to a weight loss clinic. They started me out on 175iu, (I get pre filled syringes) and that first week was tough. Lots of hunger. So i found this site and decided to skip a day and lower myself to 150iu and it has worked. Think I found my sweet spot. So I'm fixing to enter into week 3 of phase 2, and I went to my appt today to get 7 more shots and now they are at 200iu?? They told me that the first 2 weeks they start everybody on 175iu, then weeks 3-4 get bumped up to 200iu?? This goes against everything I've read on this site! I also dont do any skip days. Should i just ignore them and keep squeezing some out and continue at 150iu?

I told them that I had been lowering my dose, and the guy told me that hunger the first few days was normal until your body adjusts and the fact that I felt fine now probably had nothing to do with the dose. I've alread paid a lot of money and dont wanna stop the process, cause my results have been good. Their food protocol is also different than P&I (if that's any surprise). What do you suggest??

rkthin, I'm worried you have this set number in your head. You will be thinner at your college/high school weight than you were then because of how hcg lets you lose.

Jenn, I would just ignore them and continue doing what you're doing. They don't understand the protocol.

    Hi Grammy,

I see your point. I still have my big thighs that I had in high school. They are finally looking like a human limb, but very chunky still and it would be exciting to be able to wear normal jeans without having to get special ones to accommodate my thighs. I also am not hungry...does that change your advice?

Also, I know what I did wrong in my previous 2 rounds that caused me to regain. First time I did not pay attention to allowed foods in P3, and then at 6 months. I slid even farther up the scale. Second time I was exercising way too much, my body got use to needing that activity level to maintain my weight, and when my injury stopped the exercise and I was in pain and having a lot of fun sweets, my weight started to balloon again. Grammy, I know that you have kept your weight off, you look so young and vibrantly healthy in that picture, but I see a lot of posts from people who regain like I did. Can you give me any advice on how to avoid that? In each round even with weighing daily, I would see the scale go up and steak days did not reverse it. I just kept creeping up.

    Thanks! RK

I'm reading a book right now that I think may be the answer for everyone. I'm going to test it out on a few people at my church. It's called The Plan and it's a detox plan that tests foods to see if they are the cause of weight gain. Its pretty intriguing.
