Sounds great! I think also since We now know that I have Hashimotos ( thanks to your advice on the tests to have) I will also watch my gluten. Please let me know how The Plan works! Thanks

You must religiously avoid every tiny bit of gluten, rk. Read everything. And testing would be good for other grains because there is cross reactivity in a lot of cases. Corn is particularly troublesome.

Angie, you can get a salad with grilled chicken just about anywhere. Or if you go to a resturant, just ask for plain grilled chicken and a steamed veggie. Just do the best you can and don't beat yourself up about it. Stalling for a day or two is not the end of the world. Have fun shopping with your friends!

Sorry, I missed your question, Angie. Just tell the restaurant you're on a very strict diet and can't have any oil on your meat. I usually get fish because it has the least amount of fat and if a bit of oil gets on it, it's not fatal. And a salad with a squeeze of lemon.

But ordering a dry salad out, i can only eat the lettuce, correct? No mixing veggies, right?

That's right, just lettuce. Some have a bit of cucumber and a couple of pieces of tomato in it and do okay but I never mix veggies myself. In a pinch, I've had broccoli though even though it's not on protocol. It's a cabbage family and doesn't seem to cause a problem if you do it once in the round.

Hi Grammy I was wondering about the 72 hours before phase 3. When do I start counting? Is it the the same day I take my last shot or do the clock start the first day of no shot?

You start counting when you take your last shot. It's 72 hours from that.
