We are on 200 IU ... I think. We mixed it like I was supposed to from the doctor. and I fill the syringe up to 20ml and thats about it. I can eat extremely low carb and as sugarless as possible. I am also able to work out.

Oh honey, that's crazy high. That's the problem. Skip your next injection and drop to 15. You may need to lower to 125.

Yes. And many doctors put patients on that crazy high dose. I deal with the problems from doing that all day long, ever day.

I am a little nervous about skipping a day... could I just lower and see if it helps? My husband is on the same does and he is just ravenous hungry but he also works really hard every day and I have a desk job. Any thoughts on that?

It will take 2-3 days for the level to go down. Plus you're supposed to skip a day a week anyway. There is absolutely nothing wrong with skipping a day. It will let that level fall down faster and you can resume at the better dose tomorrow. Plus it will show you clearly how the dose relates to hunger. You'll start feeling better after 4 and into the evening.

Your husband is in the same boat. His hunger is from the dose. The protocol states that even big construction workers aren't hungry on the hcg diet.

    Grammy,

Here I am VLCD20, I have lost 13 pounds. I am pleased with my losses thus far, however this is where my rounds start to frustrate me. I go up or down or the scale doesn't move at all for several days. Is this just the nature of the beast, or am I a freak of nature?

It's very normal. Frustrating I know but it's the way most of us are.

    Grammy,
In the last few years since 2013, I have done the HCG diet a few times (maybe 4)..the first time, I lost 35 pounds and went down from 270 to 245 pounds...other round have been 240-255 pounds...
I have regained the weight and am back at 270 pounds...I have low testosterone...and since HCG boosts it, I lose weight and feel great after the diet. I don't think I have ever done a very strict p3 and p4...maybe that's the reason for my weight gain...I am finding losing weight very difficult now...its been more than 6 months since the last HCG round..do you think I should try a round again...or will it be impossible for me to lose & then keep it off..given the fact that I may have messed up my system even more..confused as heck
    Marching on!...
    R1..Starting Weight:272.5, LIW: 244.6..Lost: 27.9 ..Gained 3.4 in P2/P3: Net Loss:24.5 lbs
    R2..Starting Weight:248...LIW: 238...Lost 10....Travel made it difficult...then gained weight
R3....Starting Weight 261 ...Lost and gained again...
    R4...confused as heck

Hcg doesn't mess up your system even more. It will work again if you want to do it, but you really need to do P3 and P4 and watch to see why you are regaining the weight. It may be a food intolerance or you may just be going back to eating poorly and you need to clean up your diet in general. And go see the dr about your low T. He can fix that.
