It could go either way with the way your symptoms are and the only way to know for sure is to skip. Sometimes in the middle of a round you need less hcg. But your hcg is also losing potency so it often isn't a problem. But yours could have lost too much potency or you could need much less than it's lost. So a skip day will tell you.

    Good Morning Grammy,

I was feeling slightly hungry last night at bedtime. Not starving, just a little hungry. I thought that was an odd time to feel hungry. Should I skip 2 doses of my HHCG pellets today? I have not taken any HHCG today yet and am not hungry. Thank you. Have a wonderful day.

I wouldn't skip based on mild hunger at night.

If I start getting hungry around 2PM and then just want to eat the rest of the night, it's a mild hunger not like i want to chew my arm off, should I try taking my dose at lunch instead of doing the shot in the morning??

No you shouldn't monkey with time of day, only with dose itself. If you've had 4 shots, skip your next one and see how you feel after 4 and into the evening.

Hi Colleen. I am new to HCG. I am on VLCD 7 and I am down 5.8 lbs since VLCD 1 which is unheard of as i have thyroid issues (I am not on any medications) and hormone issues. My questions is about dosage. I have been hungry in the late afternoon and after dinner since VLCD 4. Never in the mornings or early afternoons. I started at 150 and am today at 170. I am using injections. I am an ultra fast metabolizer which i found out when i did the genetic testing at 23 and me. This means i will likely need more medication of anything I take. Not sure how this is going to apply to my HCG though. I am worried that my dosage is so high already. What are your thoughts?

You really shouldn't adjust your dose without skipping a day of injection and seeing how you feel. It's fine to take more if you need more but most assume they will and then keep upping the dose and the hunger gets worse and worse. But if you are only hungry at night and never in the morning or early afternoon, you may need more. But it's too soon to up it again yet. You need about 3 days at an increased dose for the blood levels to even out.

Ok. I will not touch my dosage for 3 days and hopefully all will be good. Great you are here to help answer questions and problem solve. Thank you.

You were hungry after 4 and into the evening? that's the only time that matters.
