Hey Grammy! Quick p3 question. Is Agave nectar okay for p3? I've seen some who say it is and some who say it isn't. Just curious Thanks!

kundalini, you can switch but you might have to adjust the dose. Corion is stronger than most. All you can do is try it and if you are hungry you may need to change the dose.

GonnaLoseIt, he doesn't say 10 days at the end. He says not end in your period. Most people don't stop during their period and if their period starts at the end of a round, I usually advise going a few days longer but some have stopped anyway and done fine. You do skip one day a week. You need to read Pounds and Inches for sure so you fully understand the protocol.

Amis, your blood test might not be accurate while on hcg. It elevates thyroid and female hormones a bit. I would wait until at least 2 or 3 weeks after your round ends. And it sounds like your mom's dose is off. She needs to fix the dose, not stop and reload. What dose is she on?

DivaTea, it has nothing to do with your dose change. It's just a normal stall. It's not even a considered a stall until you are at the same weight for 4 days. I have 10 day stalls in all my rounds.

Tam, I would never use agave nectar in P3. Sorry.

    Hi Grammy,

I have a few questions about fat and oils:

Is there a specific reason why we can't have fat or a tablespoon of olive oil? If I am still within my 500 calories, is it okay to take some oil? or is there some specific "special" reason/or does dietary fat mess up the diencephalon? I have read Pounds and Inches and from my interpretation, it just sounds like a straight calorie issue. Unless someone else knows differently, please let me know.

Also, I was checking my toothpaste and underarm deodorant. Yes, there are salts and chemicals, but not oil. Is it really necessary to replace these with pit-rock and other replacements? I don't see an appreciable amount of fat in these items. Again, I'm not sure if its just a calorie issue or if there is some mysterious reason why they are not allowed.

    Many thanks for your help!

    Hello Grammy,

My name is Vic and I have been pulling my hair out so I found this question thread and wanted to ask about my needle and the dose. I have bought insulin needles 1/2 cc 30 gauge says
(5/16) it is called a short needle and has this written on it u-100 insulin and units go to 50. Can you tell me if this will be right and will work. Awaiting my order but trying to get everything else in order. Thanks so much!

No you can't have oil at all, not even oil that's good for you like coconut oil. It derails the pathway to the hypothalamus and affects your stabilization. Read Pounds and Inches.

Vic, those will be fine. Happy losing!

    Hey Grammy!!

So I'm on P3, starting my second week. This last week has been crazy fluctuations for me, but I wasn't as vigilant about adding foods as I should have been. I'm scaling back to add things one at a time to determine what I have a sensitivity to. I had an inkling that I might be sensitive to egg yolks but I didn't know for sure, I ate egg whites on P2 with no issues but I did stall when I added the whole egg in P2 (I'm thinking now it was just too much fat for P2). So I needed a correction day and was too bored with steak so I did an egg day yesterday. Risky, I know, but I wanted to test it and I went down 3.2lbs. I also know that on the egg day I was approx 800-1000 calories under what my calorie tracker tells me I need to eat at maintenance level. So my question is, would an egg sensitivity show up on an egg day even though I was still well under my daily caloric needs? Or would the lack of calories cover the sensitivity?

No it's not the egg yolk. Whites are the allergic portion of an egg and fats are good for you. Don't be afraid of them. Usually a sensitivity takes eating the food every day for at least 3 days in a row. Make sure you're eating enough and try to go 5 hours or more between food intake. That will help with your stabilization. Good luck!

No you were hungry right away when you dosed after a skip day and your skip day you felt good. so that means the dose was too high still. But hold on this new dose 2 days because you've still got some of the 150 in your bloodstream.

She is on coraine brand (something like that, the real stuff in the vial from AllDayChemist. She mixed it sublingually. I hope she did it right, I don't live near her to make sure. She said she is doing 10 drops in the AM and PM.

RX sublingual is normally not measured by drops. Ask her how she mixed it. Her dose is definitely off if she is hungry.
