Nicky, I'd eat meat only. That's what a correction day looks like.

julie, TOM is likely slowing you down some. You'll probably have a nice drop when it's over. You don't have to stop on it. Powdered milk would be allowed but only 1 tablespoon.

OK, so after today's steak day, eat meat tomorrow only. This must be why I am gaining the weight right back after my steak day. I was going back to eating protein and veggies after a steak day. So, tomorrow it's just meat and black coffee

It's not hard, cukis! Just add more meats and a wider variety of veggies. Avoid anything with starch and sugar. I generally at least double my protein. Go easy the first day. Add only eggs or dairy not both. And eat that same item for a total of 3 days before adding the other one. Eat that other one for three days before adding nuts. No starchy veggies. Limit fruit to one a day for the first week. You'll be fine!

I will be starting on HCG, I was wondering, should I buy the 2000 or 5000 iu ? I am on my TOM at the moment, so hoping I will receive it right away. Also, I am ordering it from the HDI recommended supplier on the "buy hcg" page. Should I order multiple rounds?

Hi Grammy! I've completed 3 successful rounds. I am currently waiting to start R4. I waited the mandatory time between my previous rounds but am wondering if it would be okay to start R4 sooner than 12 weeks? I am on R3P4D22 and would like to start R4 in about 2 weeks, which would give me 9-ish weeks in between rounds instead of 12. Would this be ok?

Trying, they will both work. Good suppliers.

Praying, I wouldn't. It's okay to shorten up to round 3 from what I've seen but from what I've seen, your body needs more time after that.

Hi, Colleen. I need to ask for your opinion - I have severe arthritis in my knees, I've had surgery on both. My doctor has ordered a new injectable that he will start on July 26 (one shot each knee for three weeks). In the meantime, Tylenol is hardly helping, and I don't want to take too much of it (severe allergies to all NSAIDS and don't want to develope the same with Tylenol). I have a prescription for Demerol, 50mg, but I haven't used it since starting hcg in March. I'm in the middle of R2P2, VLCD22. I don't want to try taking the demerol if its something that would severely impact how the hcg is working but am really looking down a dark, painful tunnel between here and July 26 when the first shot it scheduled. I cannot use any rubs, either Basically, ice, warmth, tylenol, demerol, or just tolerate it. What would be your thought or recommendation? Thank you!

    I do need your wisdom

Colleen, you are at your goal weight (congrats!). Here's where I am...down 69 lbs @ 185# (middle of P2R3). I hope to do one more round before the holidays and one more next year. Goal is 135# (I'm 5'3). My concern is a year ago some women from work also did the diet. They looked great and only needed one round. At this point I'd say at least 85% of them have put some of the weight they lost back on. I don't ever want to go back! I'm already getting rid of my "fat clothes" even if the're not that lose.
With my new appreciation of fresh food and fruits/ veggies I was thinking of trying to maintain my success with South Beach? Thoughts? I wish I could live in P3 for the rest of my life but I realize that is not reasonable. Can you give me some insight in what you are eating daily to maintain? How often do you eat unhealthy foods (pancakes, pizza, mexican, fried food, dessert)? Do you have a "cheat" meal or a "cheat" day? How often? Do you still weigh every day? If you are ever up 2lbs do you still have a steak day?
I know my questions are a little premature since I still have 50 lbs to go...but I like to plan ahead--heck I usually even plan to plan! One last thing on P3 did you ever trust chicken wings at a restaurant and if so what style did you go with? Thanks so much!! B

    Nicky how tall are you?
This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

I'm so sorry, blue! None of the pain meds interfere with hcg losses. I'd do what you have to do to get through it all.

belinda, my diet really has not changed much from before hcg. I've been a low carber for decades. I can actually eat more food. That's the main difference. I eat what I want and stay there. I don't EVER eat unhealthy foods that have gluten in them. So no pizza unless I make it at home and then I eat cauliflower pizza. I do eat mexican but I have to choose something with corn tortillas. And I always gain 2 pounds on Mexican but it's salt and it drops back off by itself. Never cupcakes. Shudder. I weigh every day and I do a steak day if needed or another kind of correction day if I'm close. I get chicken wings but I make sure they are not breaded and tell them I'm allergic to wheat so they are careful.
