Have you done a skip day, harder? Sounds like your dose is off. Skip tonight and tomorrow morning and see how you feel by afternoon and into the evening. If better, take the dose down to .4.

What time is where you are, ashritas? If you don't feel better by 6 then the dose is too low. Take it to about 135 and see how you feel.

I hope you don't mind me chiming in. I also have Hashi's and am treated by an MD who pratices Integrative Medicine. He prefers to treat holistically, but after many years on desiccated thyroid my tests came back with high thyroid peroxidase (TPO) levels. He took me off of desiccated thyroid and put me on synthetic T/4, T3 and I began to feel better again. That was over a year ago. He explained that although he prefers to treat with desiccated thyroid, in some cases patients do better with synthetic hormones. One reason is that a small subset of people with Hashimoto’s produce antibodies not only to their thyroid tissue (TPO and TG), but also to their own thyroid hormones (T4 and T3). These patients do worse with bio-identical sources because they increase the source of the autoimmune attack. I'm in no way trying to dole out medical advice here, but wanted to share my experience because so many people struggle with this disease and it doesn't seem like there are enough qualified doctors out there. My doctor restored me to good health after being very sick with fibromyalgia, PCOS and adrenal fatigue that brought me close to quitting work.

Yes, ashritas. If you're not better go up tomorrow.

Sem, my round is going horribly. LOL I'm trying that experiment for Dr. Kruse and having some fats + hcg + CT (the cold thing) because he thinks cold will make you able to have fats. I've lost 2 pounds since Thursday. I should have lost that my first DAY.

Great to hear, marvels, thanks for that!

Interesting ... I'm doing my second round. Started loading the same day as you. I've lost four pounds, not including load weight. I'm actually not sure how much I gained loading because I forgot to weigh myself after the second day! Duh! I am too scared to try fats, especially because I'm a total wimp when it comes to CT! Are you going to stick with the experiment the whole round? So interesting ... I follow the other forum but don't post there much. I'm scared of Dr. Kruse. LOL

I assume it's that and not the hcg, but it's REALLY bitter when I put it under my tongue, and after two days now, it's getting kind of sore under my tongue. I've never had that happen before. It does say "for external use only". I hate to waste probably 12cc of hcg, now but do you think it's ok to use? I can deal with the taste as long as it's not going to be harmful. What do you think?

I believe that there are two types of wound wash....one that is plain saline (0.9% sodium chloride) and another that is anti-bacterial.

If I actually NEEDED to lose weight, I wouldn't have tried it. But I've been at goal and then I decided I'd like to lose 15 more pounds. So it's an experiment and it's not fatal if it doesn't work. I actually LOVE CT. I don't know why it is but it's very energizing. LOL

Grammy, Help! I followed protocol to a "T". I NEVER cheat or stray from strict protocol. I have had a couple of two days stalls and didn't stress but this morning I woke up 0.2 MORE than yesterday. What the heck could have caused this. I can handle stalls but can't tolerate a gain when I am so strict. I had chicken breast and romaine for lunch. Strawberries for snack. Shrimp and celery with ACV for dinner. Orange for snack. Nothing I haven't had before and everything in the amounts I should have. This is my third round and the first time I have gainned on VLCD. Any ideas?

It's just a water fluctuation. Women are prone to it. Hang in there and it will drop right back off.
