    No a planned interruption is only if you are going to be eating off protocol for 4 days or longer. And even then you can't have cake. It would be better to just stay on and stick to the protocol at the baby shower.

    :-( that's what I was thinking especially since I'm so close to my goal. Only 4 pounds to go then I'm off to phase 3. I know TOM will be here soon and I was wondering would it affect my stabilization when I stop phase 2 on June 10. I want to be in the clear by July third so I can enjoy the 4th of July food

    Hello Colleen, I enjoy reading all your suggestions and information, its making my journey easier. I wanted to get your thoughts on the repercussions, if any, of not meeting the 500 caloric daily intake? I am sticking to the line on protocol as far as food types. Thanks, Laura

    Nek, honey, for you to really be successful at keeping the weight off, you have to change how you look at food. July 4 doesn't matter. Birthday parties and showers don't matter. You really need to wrap your mind around the fact that you need to change your life and take charge of your health. Don't think with longing of cake and ice cream. They aren't good for you and will pack the weight right back on your thighs. All the things you're thinking about for July 4 are not really going to do you any favors. Food is fuel. It shouldn't be used for comfort or emotional well being because everyone else is eating it.

    Just a mild lecture from Grammy for all of us.

    SF, it doesn't matter if you hit 500. You just have to not go over.

    Grammy, I skipped my I injection Tuesday and today was the 2nd day of the lower dose of 15 (from 25). Feeling MUCH better. Some mild "I could go for an apple" or " time for dinner" hunger (normal?) but that's it. Energy up, sleeping like a rock thank you!!

    And thanks for the above reminder on lifestyle change..I am learning so much about food, health, me on this protocol, more than I thought I could/would.

    Grammy - I'm hoping you can help. I'm on R1, P2, D5 and taking subQ injections. I've been very faithful to protocol thus far, and my weightloss has been better than expected (12 lbs). My problem comes with eating meat. I have no moral issues with eating meat, but just don't tolerate it very much (except fish and seafood). I'm fine eating fish daily (as I have so far), but would love to integrate eggs for my second protein. I've read that one whole egg plus three whites equals one protein, but wondered if I could just eat the whites (since that's where the protein is) and avoid the yolk (as that's where the fat is). Do you have an opinion on this? I don't want to stall anything.

    Also, if I can get away with substituting eggs, can I do it frequently, or would this be a "once in a blue moon" kind of substitution.

    Thanks for that mini lecture grammy. I think that's what I needed to hear. I've lost 37 pounds on this round so I think its time for me to start phase 3 pretty soon then onto phase 4. I may start hcg again after those phases because I have really been successful on this diet. So my last day of phase 2 may be today Thursday May 31 so I can start phase 3 on Sunday June 3.

    I have been on the HCG for 5 days now and the past two have been horrible. I was so hungry the night before that I couldnt sleep, my belly was in pain because I was so hungry. I am taking 10 drops 3 times a day under the tongue. I have my lettuce or cabbage for lunch and dinner and 3 oz, fish chicken, extra lean beef or eye of round steak (grilled) and an apple with 2 melba rounds of bread for snack. I get up at around 10am and go to bed around 2am. I have been so hungry that past two days that it's crossed my mind to eat something but I don't want to damage any results. Please tell me if I can take more HCG or am I to feel like this. This is my first time using this site as well so I don't know if I'm doing this right, just to be safe my email is [email protected] I really need advice about being so hungry. I no longer eat sweets or drink coffee, Im doing good and dont want to mess up. Thanks
