    Thanks for the quick response, Colleen. I was hoping you'd say that - though I'm still undecided to actually use the demerol. I just hate going "there". The weight that I've lost has helped tremendously with the pain and flexibility, but when its bone-on-bone, there's only so much to do. MAYBE just the idea that I CAN take it will help!!! Kind of mind over matter! <sigh> we'll see, I guess.

    Thanks for the great advice! I have been reading quite a bit into gluten and you seem to have it figured out. I have even seen gluten free brownies/cakes at the store. I'm not as strong as you as far as I'll need a cupcake from time to time. But as they say...nothing tastes as good as skinny feels! Thanks for being here! B

I hope to find answers soon, because I would love to add back eggs, dairy, fruit and nuts this round, which I haven't since before P2.

    Hi Grammy!

    I had my gallbladder out a few years ago and I am little worried about adding in fats when I start P3. What is your recommendation for a good digestive aid/enzyme?

    Nicky, I'm not sure you should continue. You're only an inch shorter than me and you're already in a size 4. We get so focused on this that we don't see ourselves clearly. Listen to your family some. They see you better than you do.

    thanks for this thread! Anyway I am on day 14 of p3 and I was stabilizing perfectly up until Sunday when I had to do my first steak day. I barely lost a pound from that but was still within the 2 lb limit by .2 of a pound. Tuesday I went up by 2.2 lbs from Monday so I did ANOTHER steak day. Yesterday I was 3 lbs lighter and one lb higher than my LDW. I tried to eat lots of protein, green veggies, and had 3 apples. The first time I weighed this morning I was right at the limit of the 2 lb window. I have not had bowel movements since Monday so there is still a pound of steak in there (along with other food)! How do you think I should eat today so I can have a bowel movement and not have to do ANOTHER steak day tomorrow? I already had Smooth Move tea yesterday and took 3 stool softeners today. I don't know why I am struggling so much this week when I was doing so great!

    When did you decide you were at maintenance weight? Did you lose all of your abnormal fat? Once, I get into P4, I hope to tighten up back at the gym. I love working out and did it regularly even at my heaviest. I need to keep those endorphins going... Also, if I do another round, because I haven't seemed to stabilize at my LDW 148.8 how long must I wait between rounds 4 and 5? I thought it was 12 weeks (two weeks added between rounds 6, 8, 10 weeks, etc.) My friend said that I needed to go 20 weeks between rounds 4 and 5. I'm sure she is correct since she just read it in P and I. Thanks for all of your help. I dropped 3 pounds from my steak day yesterday and am eating all meat today. I miss my cream, but will see if it's the culprit of my unexplained gaining. I also lasered cream this morning. Hope it works.

    It IS 20 weeks between 4 & 5. Remember, normal fat is still there under the skin. What the hcg diet takes is abnormal fat. You don't want to look gaunt. Hope that cream lasering does the trick. Try digestive enzymes with it too.

    adm, that's way too much fruit. 3 apples is a ton of carbs. That's probably what messed you up.

    Thanks! How do you suggest I eat today? I already had an apple and 2 eggs. I will avoid fruit for the rest of the day. Would it be ok to have some ground turkey with veggies? I am already avoiding nuts and dairy for the next few days until I get to a safe number. Is tuna (no mayo/yogurt) added ok? I'm sorry I'm asking so much! I just reeeally don't wanna do 3 steak days this week! eek!
