I ended up having to take a Benadryl. My stomach started to hurt and it was taking my breath away. I figured it was an allergic reaction so I took the medicine and it worked so I'm guessing no more cheese for me! That's okay though because it tastes funny now anyway. Thanks Grams

Grammy! Help! I posted in the hHCG threads, but no one answered I left my drops in my hot car for an hour or two - it says to store them in a cool place...are they still good?

    THANK YOU!

Hey Mandeloo... i hear ya. Im good with fage, Ive been afraid to try milk or cream but Im glad to hear you are ok with it. Ive done ok with hard cheese, I got a good quality aged gouda and it seems to be ok, yesterday I had quite a lot of it and my stomach was kinda off, but could have been something else too... I didnt get the flu feelings. So far Ive gotten those flu like symptoms with cream cheese and cow's milk feta. Takes about a day to wear off. Goat cheese seems to be ok as well as blue cheese and salad dressings with dairy.

Grammy, Ive heard to wait a week and try it again with some sensitivities. Do you know why that is?

    Hi grammy!

I have another question~ Is this okay for Phase 3?
(I posted this in Phase 3 thread but would like your expertise please :-D)

I just finished my first day of Phase 3 but I'm pretty timid about weight creeping back up in maintenance..

    Was what I ate today okay? Total: 1560 calories; Protein 33%// Fat// 59%//Carbs 8%

I ate about 124 grams of protein, 103 grams of fat, and 33 grams of carbs.

    Breakfast
    2 poached eggs
    tabasco sauce

    Lunch
    7 pieces salmon sashimi
    4 pieces tuna sashimi
    soy sauce, wasabi, pickled ginger
    dried seaweed
    lettuce

    Snack:
150 grams of salmon cooked in olive oil

    Dinner:
    60 grams of beef
fried veggies (cauliflower, onion, bell pepper, zucchini)
*used lots of olive oil and sesame oil
    sesame seeds
    fried egg

I also drank cups of water throughout the day..

Thank you so much!! And I was wondering if whey protein shakes were okay as snacks? (uses sucralose and low carb)

yayhow, I'm sure they are fine. Hhcg doesn't have to be refrigerated.

shining, sometimes the weight gains are just from eating more food so we tell you to wait and see if things settle down before trying again.

mlee, it looks fine but if you gain, it's likely the soy sauce. It's soybean oil and soy messes with your thyroid. I don't ever eat soy. Some eat protein shakes but I like real foods. I gain on processed stuff like protein shakes.

And I assume I need blood test to determine if I lack the enzyme? I had a food sensitivity test done (ALCAT, via blood test) and it showed mild sensitivities to both, but I think that's different, right? Thanks.

A sensitivity is different from lacking the enzyme. You can treat for both and then try them and see how you do. Maybe you don't have the enzyme problem.

Thanks grammy. I don't really care too much about the gluten, except I'd like to know if I'm in a situation that it's hard to avoid, that I can do it without suffering. On the dairy, I'd like to be able to do yogurt and some cheese. We'll see. I'm still in P2 right now, but getting close to P3.

    Hey there!
I noticed you made a post on another thread about doing Pilates. Did you start it while you were in a phase 2 part of the protocol? Or wait til you went to p3?
    Are you still doing it?
I made a thread asking if there is anyone else trying it in the exercise section
I have been wanting to stretch and stretch so thinking Pilates would be good to help the muscles adjust as I lose weight?

R1P2 started 6-30-11 85 days long with a loss of 39.2 pounds. Yes, I had a couple of cheats but got back on the horse!
R1P3 started 9-24-11 Maintained 5 pounds below LDW
R2P2 started after the Holidays 2011, lost 15 pounds in 30 days. Maintained great!
R3P2 started after Holidays 2012, drops didn't have HCG in them!
This protocol has taught me a lot about myself!

It's not intense so it's all right no matter when you do it. I haven't been doing it lately. Been buried in finishing this book that is due Sept 1.

Thanks Colleen for staying around and sharing your wisdom.

    Ah~ I guess I spoke too soon
I was making dinner for the next day~ (3 tablespoons olive oil + 100g chicken + curry powder + 1 onion)
And I ended up eating all of it + a couple bites of leftover steak... It's still the end of Day 1 of Phase 3 at 11pm..
I also took bites of a tuna salad I was making for a future meal

That puts me at 2,300 calories for the first day..
    My belly is hurting..

FitDay tells me that 1,400 of my calories came from fat.. The fat came from olive, sesame oil, egg yolks, and salmon/beef.
Is this daily intake too much for the first week? I'm so scared to see what the scale says tomorrow? Might be a straightaway Steak Day
