    Hungry, hungry, hungry etc on HHCG

    Hello Grammy,
    I'm feeling like this isn't going the way it should be. I'll start from the beginning....
    I started off doing 2.5 load days since I felt the first day I didn't load as I should have. I focused on fatty foods like bacon (lots), sausage & sausage gravy, bacon cheeseburgers, hamburger patties w ranch, LOADED baked potatoes w bacon, cheese, tons of butter, sour cream and even olive oil poured on top as well as tons of almonds etc. I lost 1 lb during these days and now I'm on day 2 of phase 2 and I lost 3 more lbs from yesterday morning to this morning. I feel ok during the morning and early afternoon w some hunger here and there but once late afternoon hits I go downhill. The 1st day was worse than today but still I'm was feeling pretty badly. Headachy, really hungry and somewhat out of it. Even if I eat, I'm still hungry. I'm following the 500 cal diet to a T and drinking 3-4 liters of water and 2-4 cups of green tea daily w stevia. I'm taking 15 drops of GFC brand HCG PLUS DROPS w B12-
    (HCG 6X, 12X, 30X, 60X USP 20% ALCOHOL
    FUCUS VES, CALCAREA CARBINICA, SPONGIA TOSTA,
    ddH2O, B12)
    3x a day.

    Is it normal to feel this way for awhile or am I doing something wrong? It's 2:15 am and I still can't sleep because I'm so hungry. Before starting this plan I usually only ate once a day so I really didn't think I'd have a problem handling the vlcd. I really didn't expect to feel so bad. But mainly hungry. I'm very committed and determined but this is a bit overwhelming.... : (

    Ugh, I was going in the right direction (down), until now!
    After lunch yesterday, I got sick again?? I can't figure out why?? First I thought it was a stomach virus (but how come it only happens sometimes, after I eat lunch?). So now I think I am eating too much for lunch(?). Which ends up screwing me up... because after lunch I get so nauseous, I have to lay down. So then I don't wake up until evening, which by then, is too late to eat dinner. So then I skip dinner, and end up being hungry late (10pm). But I know I can't eat that late (right?); so I don't.

    I am having 2 pieces of chicken breast wrapped in Nappa Cabbage for lunch. About 15min after I am finished, I start getting a super warm feeling in the core of my stomach. It slowly starts heating up.. like an oven. It gets hotter and hotter. Then I start sweating, feel dizzy, and feel like I have to vomit (but never do). So I lay down. And you know the rest.

    So today I will try only 1 piece of chicken for lunch, versus the 2, and see if I get sick still. I now know I NEED to be able to eat dinner. Because if not, I gain a lot (+1.6lbs today)! Ahh... all this trial and error is difficult!

    So I guess my question.. With knowing the importance of eating dinner, what is your opinion on the latest time to eat? I always thought never eat anything after 7pm; hungry or not. Is that true? Let's say I get sick again, lay down, and get hungry around 10pm. It's too late to eat by then, correct? Or because I am hungry, and need to get my calories in, should I eat? I am currently reading, "Weight Loss Apocalypse", and trying to understand the "eating when your body tells you". So that, and the old saying not to eat after 7pm, is very contradicting.

    You are a life saver Grammy! I have no one else to talk to about this. My whole family hates that I am doing this. So, they don't want to/aren't interested in hearing one word about this.

    (BTW, I searched how to figure out my frame size, and did both the elbow and wrist measurement test. Both conclude I am medium framed. So it says 133-147 is the normal range).

    GRAMMY,

    I'm p3 D13, LIW 170.5. Today I was 174.4!!! TOM is peeking round the corner (spotting yesterday) and I'm retaining water pretty bad. At work so can't do correction day (work 13 hr shifts)...I'm thinking it's due to TOM and the fact that I didn't sleep well last night (son is either getting sick or cutting teeth ). Any advice????


    Up or down??? She chose doooowwwnnnn! Too late now...(from my all time favorite movie, Labyrinth.)

    I was wondering if it's possible to wean myself off of carbs in a more permanent way? Like maybe when I'm finished with P2 and move on to the other phases that I will want to stay away from carbs cause of this diet? I'd love it if that could happen...Im pretty sure that carbs are my trigger foods and I feel like for this to last I'm going to have to learn to stay away from them as much as possible.

    okay Grammy, if I do say 20 units (and used 3ML for mixing) how many days will one vial last?

    Grammy just wonderiing if I am not eating enough...Here is what I have been doing B--2 fried eggs olive oil, coffee with milk, snack orange, lunch I split it up into two meals 6 oz chicken with salad ranch dressing, yesterday I had brussel sprouts with butter and tomatoes, afternoon snack apple (sometimes), supper 6 oz chicken with vegtables or salad.....I am going to be going to fish once a day and chicken the other meal. I started taking supplement fish oil yesterday. I do not have time to have bacon in the morning so that is why I added the ham but found out it had sodium in it so stopped eating that. I think I need to add something else with more fat in it...yogurt with fruit? Today I was only up .2 I am at 1.2 lbs about LIW. Thanks for all your help!!! I am use to watching what I eat as I was on weight watchers......Just want to make sure I had heading in the right direction....

    california, you should not be eating 80 calories of bread! That is very off. The original protocol breadsticks are 10-20 calories for a serving. If you are eating that much bread, it's likely your problem more than the extra protein. You should just eat the diet and not worry about not hitting 500 calories. There is nothing in the protocol that says you should add food to get to 500 calories.

    smay, your dose is likely off. A headache is normal the first few days but hunger isn't. Since it gets worse as the day progresses, I'd bet the dose is too high. Skip 2 doses today and see how you feel by evening. If better, drop the dose to 12 drops 3x a day.

    jesseca, you may be allergic to chicken. Don't eat it at all for lunch today. Try salmon or another type of fish. Or even beef. And no you really shouldn't eat at 10 so we need to fix this.

    kitri, my advice is always to do a steak day so if you can't do that, there isn't much else I can say. Hopefully if it's water weight it will drop back off.

    momma, get the book The Paleo Answer by Cordain. That's how I eat all the time. I think you would find the paleo diet a lifesaver!

    kkcp, it will last about 2 weeks.

    Deb, it's fine to eat ham. Sodium isn't a bad thing. Canadian bacon would be a nice addition too. You're eating too much fruit though. I never eat more than 1 a day in the early days of P3.

    Wow, allergic to chicken? I ate it everyday in P2. Ok, no chicken today! I will just do beef and steak.

    Which is better hamburger, 73% or 80%? I have been using 80%.

    so FRUSTRATED!!!! I am in p3d9 and have literally had to do a steak day every other day! I haven't even added much in! I was cooking everything in CO, thought maybe I was sensitive to that, so stopped. Thought maybe it was the hwc in my coffee, so cut that out too. Here is what I ate yesterday:

    Breakfast=2 chicken breasts, an entire bag of spinach, one zuchini, one cucumber and half an onion all cooked in olive oil. A handful of blueberries.
    Lunch=same, but one chicken breast and a little more of the vegetables, no fruit
    Dinner=same as breakfast with more of the same vegetables, minus the fruit

    All cooked in lots of olive oil. I even followed the leptin reset timing and had NO snacking! I drank enough water and got 9 hours of sleep. What is going on here??? I woke up to a 1 pound gain this am, putting me at another steak day today. I have not been taking any supplements. Would the digestive enzymes and probiotics stop the gain?
