deb, you might try going to 8 drops and see how you do. The fact that you're suddenly getting hunger in the middle is an indication that your dose might be too high.

julie, it might be something you're eating. A food sensitivity. Or you may have low quality hcg that isn't agreeing with you. You may want to consider replacing your hcg early.

I did this in my first round - and I remember doing this when I'd lost weight before. Getting rid of fat in the stools will make them loose. I don't seem to be having that problem this time. Last time it happened, it eventually evened out and I didn't have trouble in the maintenance phase. So - it might just be getting rid of the fat.

I get really "munchie" just before TOM. It didn't change that desire when I had it last round and during maintenance, either. I used the time to discipline myself - it's hard!!! Find the crunchy foods to eat - or if you think you want to cheat - try chewing gum or something that won't give you tons more calories. I had some success drinking lots of tea with stevia flavors.

When I found out that my hunger was because of "hormonal munchies" I could control my thoughts a little better. I worked really hard on figuring out head hunger vs real hunger because I want a new set of habits when this is over. The "hormone munchies" are real hunger sometimes - but I found out that I won't die if I wait to eat until a meal. I kind of welcomed the hungry feeling sometimes, knowing that it meant my body was going to pull from the fat reserves to make it up.

That was strangely a revelation! Being a stay-at-home-mom, I can eat whatever, whenever I want (after all, I buy the groceries!). I realized that I can be in control and not let hunger rule my actions - even if it was true hunger. I am still learning (having "hormone munchies" this week, in fact) BUT!! I am determined not to let those urges rule my life - and my waist line!

    Hang in there!!!!

    Thanks Ronnie and Colleen.

Colleen, I'll try 8 drops instead.

Ronnie, yes, it does feel like I will die and MUST ACT NOW but you are right -- I won't die if I don't eat even if truly hungry. My willingness to tolerate discomfort varies greatly and pre-menstrual time I get much more on edge. I'll do some EFT on being willing to tolerate the discomfort and see what happens.

    Thanks both for replying.

Last round, I made some EFT videos using meridian tapping to address food cravings. Here are the links if interested. Each video is only a few minutes long and shows a round of tapping on each subject. 1) Generic cravings and 2) Sweet cravings and 3) Hot buttered bread

Does HCG make you have PMS symptoms like- witchiness? Man oh Man do I feel witchy...... Stuff is bothering me like right before my TOM. Is it all in my head?
I am trying to gorge but I am truly not hungry! This is day 2 and I weigh the same today as yesterday! Even though I ate way more than usual and stuff that I never usually eat like cake and ice cream...... I thought that the gorging was the easy part! LOL.

OK newbie questions here I started last week with injections on June 18 loaded Saturday & Sunday. Monday was a little bit of a shock to the system I read in one of the post that I should not get hungry at all, I am experiencing some hunger and light headed once in a while. My doctor provided the doses do I need to go back and ask for a higher dose? What should I do?

    First Day--Question on Injections

    Dear Grammy,

It is my first day on the diet, so I am loading away. I am using injectable rx hCG which was compounded with B12 since I have other health issues and I have been quite fatigued. The vial I got was already mixed and and needed to be refrigerated when I picked it up. The syringes which were provided are insulin syringes, 30G gauge, 1cc capacity. I am supposed to take 10 ml. So, I drew 10 ml of air, pushed it into the vial, then drew 10 ml of solution and injected into a fold of fat (of which there is plenty) into my stomach area. The 10 ml mark on the syringe is the first mark, so it is an extremely small amount of injectable product. Am I doing it correctly? I want to make sure I do everything to the letter because I have a lot of weight to lose (>100) and I am completely committed, both mentally and physically, to seeing this through, no matter how long it takes.

My RX says 10 ml, but the HCG Weight Loss Plan that accompanied the product says 25 ml per day. Which is it? I thought the pharmacist said 25 when he gave it to me, but I have short term memory issues....

Thanks you for being so helpful to all of us on the forums. This HCG Diet Info is going to be so valuable to me while I embark on this journey!

    Tekkie/ Nina

More info....when I read the info from the pharmacist, it was describing mixing powder and diluent solution, so that may be where the mix-up occurred. I believe I am supposed to take the 25ml. However, I only have a 30-day supply and will have to have it refilled before I complete this round.

So, I think I'm okay. I took another shot of 15 ml for today and should be good tomorrow with a 25 ml injection.

Sorry I'm just a bit confused on things sometimes. One of my meds really impacts my cognitive abilities at times... so sorry!
    Nina

That would be 10 or 20 UNITS not mls. Mls would be a huge volume. I would find out what that dose is. It's possible it's 250 which is sort of high for a lot of people and it's possibly 125 which may be too low. So you need to ask.
