So, having said that, I hope that tomorrow morning, I'm down. I ate a ribeye and some yellow cherry tomatoes. I have probably had at least 2 liters plus of water today. God help me if this doesn't work. Anyway, I plan to stick to my P3 foods til it's time for my cruise.....the no bread is not going to be fun since I usually look forward to the little breaks in between rounds when I can eat it but, it's not worth it to have this much weight back on!!! I need to ask though, what is your take on nuts in P3? And cheese? I bought some more almond flour today so, hopefully that means I can at least have a mug cake every now and then. And, I'm a cheese junkie.....so, I guess I should curb it even if you say some is ok. What do you think about greek yogurt? It was pretty nasty when I tried it with the jay robb shakes but, maybe to use for a smoothie with some fruit would be ok?

Thanks for all the advice! Oh, btw, what is Egg day???????????????????????? And, do you eat mayonaisse on P3?
Nuts and cheese are fine for P3 as they are good fats. I eat almonds and pistachios mostly. Peanuts, of course, are legumes and for P4. I eat whatever cheeses I like however I found that my tastes have changed and I don't want as much cheese (quantity-wise) as I did before. Greek yogurt is fine; just read the ingredient label and don't eat the kind with added sugar. Same with mayo. Mayo is easy to make and you can control what goes in it obviously.

An egg day is when you eat only eggs. 8 - 10 during the day, any style including deviled (with mayo). Drink lots of water, too.

As far as bread, what is it that you miss? Sandwiches? You might try making Oopsie Rolls. Here is the link for the recipe: http://blog.yourlighterside.com/2009...ka-oopsie.html They may suffice for your bread craving. You can add things like cinnamon to make a sweet roll, top with sesame seeds for a hamburger bun, top with Parmesan cheese, etc.

    Jonathan, this is for you:

Uh oh, not good. What have you added in P4 that caused such a drastic rise in your weight? It sounds like inflammation and whatever it is, you shouldn't ever eat it again. I'd do a steak day right away then follow it up with meat only days. No nuts, eggs or dairy with it. that usually produces the best weight loss right away. Good luck!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to check in sooner. I'm at my big writers conference and it's been crazy busy. I'm CEO so have been busy from morning to night.

Thanks guys! Great news! I lost over 5 lbs this morning!!! So, I feel like I'm getting back on the right track. I'm going to continue p3 foods and be very good til I get it all back off!!! Feeling good though so that will make it easier.

I don't know if I'll be able to determine what exactly caused the spike....I went kind of crazy!!!! So many things it could be. What I mis about bread? What can I say.....I've been a junkie for it my whole life. I have a fresh loaf of sourdough on my kitchen table screaming my name!!!! Lol But, I shall resist! Thanks again!

Yay for you, Nola! Sounds like you are back on track. Dove-tailing on Colleen's post, when you add foods back in, add them one at a time and slowly so you know what your body likes and dislikes.

Lost another half a pound this morning. It's only half but, I'll take it! I'm very proud of myself....I spent the night with girlfriends who ate cheese tortillini and pizza with sundaes for dessert. I had a seafood salad and berries for dessert!

Hope it will keep coming off! Thanks to everyone!

If you are a bread junkie, I would seriously check out the gluten free breads. There are some wonderful recipes. If it is gluten intolerance your body will just start going up when you add these foods back into the cycle. I am gluten intolerant and if it means no bread or no fat, I am choosing the no bread. I have invested in the gluten free cookbooks.

I would also invest in another steak day. I am not sure what Grammy would say, but you still are not down. Please make sure there is not sugar on those berries.
