Never ran cuz i didnt like it and it hurt. Now I am doing 30min on elliptical then I like to go on the tredmill. i like to run now but dont know the best way to run. Yesterday I jogged for 5 min at a 5.2 then i did like 10 "20sec" sprints ranging from 7-8.5. (thats fast for me) I wanted to see how fast i could go. Sooooo I have no idea what i sould do on the tredmill, do you have any suggestions? If anybody else has any ideas i would be happy to hear form anybody.

After steak day and protine day mack down to that magic 169.5! Cant seem to get lower!
Well, it depends on your goal. If a distance run is your goal, then you need to increase your miles on your longest run by about a mile a week. So each Friday I add a mile to my previous Friday's run. So I rest on Monday, Run 4 on Tuesday with weights, Wednesday is 3 at a faster pace. Thursday, I'll do an easy 2 or rest. Friday or Saturday is my long run day, with the next day being a short light recovery run.

Honestly, one of the best workout regimens I've ever done is the body for life program. You need to know your max speed. Then you run for 20 minutes at the following paces.

    Minute 1 -50%
    2 - 60%
    3 - 70%
    4 - 80%
    5 - 90%
    6 - 60%
    7 - 70%
    8 - 80%
    9 - 90%
    10 - 60%
    11 - 70%
    12 - 80%
    13 - 90%
    14 - 60%
    15 - 70%
    16 - 80%
    17 - 90%
    18 - 100%
    19 and 20 - 50-60%

This will really bump up your fitness!

YAY, I'm finally connected to my electronic world again. Been fighting with my laptop off and on for about a month and finally gave up and took it to a tech. Turns out the hard drive was failing and all this time I thought it was cuz I was too ignorant to fix it (haha!). Good news is that it was still under warranty. Did loose some data, but don't keep much on my laptop -- everything important goes on the desktop.

Too far behind to make individual comments.

Decided to start another round after 5.5 weeks in P4 so hope to be able to do some further reshaping and give myself a 5lb margin as I tend to gain 2-3 lbs in P4 that is harder to get off. So far so good.

thomy... don't I know it. My round 2 was like that.

And then I hear my DIL who's lost 31 lbs in the same time I've lost 19 and I get frustrated.

My last round was like this one and so I am not impressed. My son in 2 weeks has lost 31lb's so I know how you feel.

I thought I'd try the pellets that my son is on and see how that goes. I just ordered some to keep until I want to do another round. I am just 10lbs from goal, but with only 2 weeks to go I will not make it short of a miracle, so 1 more round for sure. Going to start it the end of May! I am at 145 now and want to be at 135, but I seem to be stuck in the mid 140's. (it is an old set point for me, so it should not surprise me)

I heard about a church group that got ahold of hcg, didn't follow the protocol and they have been having all kinds of problems. They didn't stop at the end of 40 days, but kept going. I had to totally tell someone who was asking me about it that those are people who give a perfectly great diet a bad name. They are ignorant and don't follow protocol and then complain that the diet is dangerous or doesn't work. Makes me fume! I love this diet and am so happy I found it. I followed protocol all thru Nov. and the only deviation was that I had some turkey breast on Thanksgiving. I made it through Christmas without cheating. I found I can do anything for 40 days.

Lizzy, you are right! You have to follow the protocol to the letter to achieve the best results. I'm in my first round, used drops, lost 32 pounds and stabilized after my second week of P3 (I start P4 in 2 days). Everyone I work with were very skeptical, but after seeing my results and hearing that I lost 8 sizes they've all changed their minds about HCG. My brother and sister-in-law both lost 20 lbs (didn't complete a full round) and feel so much better! I did a lot of research before beginning the protocol and consulted with 3 doctors, one of which is my cardiologist that said "there have been no studies proving that HCG is harmful - so go for it"! I can't wait to see him in September - he'll be so happy that all my heart-attack fat is gone, gone, gone!!

    Keep positive everyone! :-)

    Dear Mr. Steak Day.

I've been putting off completing you because of our prior history. You used to give me a 3-4 pound loss when I needed it. Now, what do I get? Nothing. I'm asking, no, begging you to please be good to me. I didn't have half and half, and I didn't sneak more than 2 bites of you early. I am counting on you to get me close to my goal. Please advise if this is not possible so that I will just be done with you all together and save myself the heartbreak.

    Yours in protein,

    Me....

I've had it with a pinched nerve in my neck, but it's best to get it checked out.
