Hey guys. Molly I'm here for you! We have the exact same issue. I even freaked out and tried to start a round to drop some pounds. Duh.

So I'm back to my very low carb way of eating and trying to undo damage from a two day binge. Ugh.

I keep my acidolphilus in the fridge. I hear you can "kill" it if stored near a heat source (e.g. oven). I don't know but I figure why risk it?

For hair loss, I am taking 5000mcg of Biotin and 1000mcg MSM two times a day. Think that is dangerously high dose??? I dont think it stops it from falling out because I haven't seen an improvement -but just the regrowth...which will take months/years to regrow as I have long hair. I also just ordered some biosil to try.

molly - I was up a sudden 2.5 pounds from yesterday's weight. Think its tom bc exactly 28 days ago I was correcting for another sudden gain - and the 28 days before that...I am drinking my coffee and teas and trying to decide if I should correct for tom or just ride it out??? Dr. S does say to immediately correct right - even when done with P4.

Mollymol - *HUGZ* I'd be worried too. I haven't ever had surgery either. Put it in God's hands...easier said than done, I know. Go to your happy place. Think positive!

I'm still struggling on the diet. Too much stress to make myself a priority right now. Not giving up, but ... beating myself up plenty (mentally).

Well I was back down 2lbs today. I just eat eggs and steak and make sure i dont eat late and so far this round it has worked every time. I have given up on steak days. I tried one early in this p3 and only went down 1lb. I do better with my protine days. I think its because my body does better with smaller meals. If I have a very large meal, even if its at 1pm, I see gains the nex day. So having a huge steak after starving myself is not a grat method for me even though it works for many others.

I have seen a huge difference in my hair loss from the first couple of rounds to this one where i was taking biotin. About 3mon after my first round last year I started noticing huge hair loss. I lost about a third of my hair. I discovered biotin and since I have been taking it every day I have not had the hair loss i did that first round. My doctor instructed me to stop taking my biotin because of the surgery. Its so hard to not to take it each day and I am noticing more hair in the shower but nothing like that first round.

Yikes!!! 1/3 of your hair!!! I took biotin during P2 until bottle ran out somewhere in P3. My hair probably started falling out 3 mon after my first round as well! Interesting. How long did it keep falling out? did the biotin make it stop - or just help the regrowth? I'm trying not to freak out but sometimes it gets to me. Same thing is happening to my sister who finished her first round as well.
Molly - do you take 5000mcg of biotin once a day - was that the doctor recommended dosage? wonder if I am taking too much as I have had headaches for 2 weeks and I am not the type to get headaches. But I think I had them a few days before I started taking the biotin heavily.

    Molly - sorry I missed your B-day!!1

Zami - sorry your struggling with losses this round!

    Welcome to the new comers!!!!

I did not read every post - so I hope I did not miss anything important. I have had bronchitis now for a few weeks. I am feeling better, but still so exhausted. I come home form work and lay in bed reading or on the couch watching tv - as I am just sooo tired to do things. When I lay flat the coughing fits begin and so I have not been sleeping too well. I have to admit I have been eating everything. Been too tired to go grocery shopping and so just grabbing what is quick and easy! Even ordering in Chinese Food. I have not gained from it - Happy dance! Even after a weekend away (no control over what people offered me and attending my nieces wedding) and still no gain! I am stabilized - yahoooooooo! I am going to be more careful now though as I do not want to gain anything back, so tonight I ran out and purchased some fresh produce so I can get back eating more healthy. I will start my 5th round Thanksgiving weekend and I am hoping it is my last round!

I have missed being on here and seeing how everyone is doing. My hubby has been away and has the lap top that I always use, so have not been able to get on and visit with everyone. My daughter let me use hers tonight. Have a great night everyone!!!!

Soooo. ..I read on another site to load three days for hhcg drops and two for injections. I am on drops. This will be round 3, and hopefully the last on the drops for me. Was in p3 for about five weeks. Load for 2 or 3 days? loaded yesterday and am miserably bloated. Is it okay to take a diuretic?

diamondqueen - I have always only loaded 2, I have done hhcg pellets and sublingual rx hcg. I do fine with just 2 days of loading.

Zami- glad to be back! How are you and Christian doing? Has Alana started school yet? Dalin starts grade 12 next Tuesday and we drive Josi down to Idaho for university next weekend! Life is changing around here I'll tell you. Down to 1 child at home will surely be strange! We have had a house full for so many years!

diamondqueen - diurectics are bad news. Try probiotics, a digestive enzyme and Natural CALM.

thomy - Christian and I are enjoying wedded bliss. It just gets better all the time. We really are perfect for one another. Alana starts school on the 6th and will be with her dad until then. Christian and I will have some time alone. We're off to get his fingerprints done in Spokane for his green card and we're going to go to Silverwood (amusement park). He should be suitably thrilled. We're getting ready this morning...we have a nice quiet place to stay on the river in Post Falls as well. A second honeymoon! hee hee.. oooh Josi is going to university!! Grats to her! How exciting for her! How are you with it all? eep...she's moving out! Scary scary! I'm so happy to have Christian now; it will be much easier to she Alana go when it's that time for her. You and Garry give each other hugs for me!

Sorry, I have been gone for the weekend,I take 4000 or 5000 mcg of biotin each day.I can't remember. I take the dose that grammy recomends. I don't think it helps more to take mega doses. I don't think it stops the hair from falling out. I think it prevents you from losing any more because the hair u r losing now actually "died" (lack of a better word) 3mon ago during p2 and it is falling out now because the new hair is pushing the old hair out. That's how I understand it to work. Does that make sense. Its hard to explain. U gotta understand the hair growth cycle.

Congrats on the new job, Molly! You know, I suspect you are VERY insulin resistant. The next time you get blood work, get your A1c done. Since I started doing the leptin reset, my weight doesn't fluctuate at all. Not even a few ounces. That huge dollop of protein first thing in the morning seems to keep my blood sugar stable all day long. You might check it out and try it. it would help with those weight gains when you eat carbs.
