    Morning all!

Great job on the losses - destiny, puglover, para, under150 ... and anyone else I may've missed
Way to stay POP - cynm, Zami and the rest of you!

    Happy belated bday cynm!

I've been so busy tracking my hcg that I completely forgot I needed a new injection kit! I ordered one last night from Amazon and paid a little extra to get it here early next week. So bummer, even if my hcg gets here this weekend I have to wait for my kit. All I have right now are injection syringes - Boo

I hope everyone is having a great Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend. Nothing special planned, which is perfect.

    good afternoon all,

seems like I will be losing like I did the first time around. .4 of a pound each day...LOL! but a loss is a loss and I will take it. Feeling better today...finally ate lunch..that always helps. Very cold...very cold and it is a warm day in Ohio today...near 50.

That's the rate I'm going at too. But it's a very good rate of weight loss...sometimes I feel like if I lose it slower it will stay off easier. Either way, a loss is a loss!

I heard that it is easier for the slow losers to keep the weight off. I lost slowly the first time around...and I managed to stabilize rather well too. I went over my calendar from the last time, it took me 2 -3 days to lose a pound. It worked the last time, hopefully it will work this time too.

Just wondering..this may be a dumb question but I am going to ask it anyway...its it ok to do breakfast and lunch instead of lunch and dinner? I dont mean everyday but once or twice a week.

Still don't know a damn thing. May it be well for us today on our journeys.. and today may we all not be blind to our own goodness.
Released half of the loading weight, 5 pounds, I will make some adjustments next time loading. I was like a dog off a leash on vacation and eating all the forbidden foods. I am a bit rashy but that would have happened without hcg if i ate stuff i was allergic to. I started dry skin brushing and thinking about bath salts. I read pounds and inches, the whole book yesterday. Lot to think about. This morning I ordered LONESTAR ANGEL, 's new book, as a reward for 3 perfect days. I spent a lot of time in and out of hospital when I was young with eating disorders, anorexia and bulimia and discovered I am a person who responds really well to rewards. The eating disorders folks even got it down to the minute how close together the rewards needed to be. So interesting... every 2 days. Rumi says to change takes time attention and 40 early mornings and i believe that is true. For Zoe, it also takes little presents every 2 days. Know thyself.

cynm - Yay! Happy belated birthday and way to go sticking it out with the diet thru it. What a great gift to give to yourself!

brick - I'm still cold too, but otherwise (like you) I'm feeling much better. Plenty of energy, no headaches, sleeping well with 3mg melatonin. d

I'm starting to consider that maybe staying off the scale will be better for me this round. I'd rather concentrate on counting down the days and eating right on the diet. I was thinking this morning that waiting until the end to weigh would be kinda cool. I'd be able to see how far I've come and I know my clothes will fit and feel differently as the days pass. I figure if I feel I NEED to weigh at some point, I will... otherwise, I'm going rogue on the weighing in every morning part of the diet.

destiny - you can eat your protocol calories any time of the day. Spread it out over the day however works best for you. I'd think that not eating in the evening would probably help you lose more and WOW... I know most of us (including me) have the hardest time at night. If you can skip dinner, more power to ya!

VLCD5 here and going strong. I even went to Red Robin with the family last night and had only a lean beef patty and lettuce with mustard. It was yummy, satisfying and filling. lol... too weird.

    VLCD5 SKIP day

No change today. No release. Must review this protocol.

When I was on my own food program, I was NEVER hungry and ate what I wanted (mostly didn't want a lot!) and I dropped .5 a day or 1 lb every other day. But I went into a 2 month plateau after 20 lbs. Thus, I needed to do this hCG protocol. But sheesh, I really eat so little. And I hope it is just as rewarding as my personal program!

Grammie suggested I take a skip day today, because I was exhausted yesterday. I feel generally, um, okay, but I'm not very energetic PLUS I'm feeling a bit nauseated and rumbly. Then, if I feel better (what does better feel like on this diet?) I need to drop my hCG dosage, if not, raise it. Sigh.

My hip started hurting (this is a new one for me) after doing a lot of standing on Thursday. I figure it's a detox symptom? Anyone else have this sort of thing, first week in??

Hope you are all doing well. I guess I'll go outside and go skipping!
