Hi Friends. Checking in from Mesa, AZ area. We are here a month to spend holidays with my DH's sister/family. We've been visiting here 25 years, so it feels familiar. We are in a really nice RV resort, small and very quiet. We are usually involved with family stuff, but it is great to have a nice place to call home. My SIL has celiac, so guess what? We don't eat bread and wheat together! That helps. Nothing worse than everyone wanting pizza or pasta or big muffins! We had an amazing T-giving near DFW. I planned the menu for cooking at DS's house. Thursday AM, ding-dong. There was my oldest son and family, flew in from MI the previous night. Had a whole other dinner from Whole Foods in tow. What an amazing weekend we had all together! It was wild, exhausting, and wonderful. My MI DIL was the doc who started me on hcg. Very supportive of good decision making! I had a piece of pie and some dressing. Other than that it went well.

So, after holiday and being on the road for 1 month, my weight is exactly where it was when we left home! I'm very happy about that! On road days, we eat breakfast, drink coffee and have almonds and an apple for lunch. Then dinner as normal/our new normal. Good quality meat, salads, veggies, fats, eggs and cheese. It is working for us. Last night I made a crock pot roast, no-gluten marinade, added carrots and potatoes and made a salad. It was great, and SIL really appreciates that I know how to cook GF!

I made my cranberry salad again, and I eat it many days for lunch with Fage. Maria, I'm glad your fam liked it for T-giving.

Kansas and Tulsa, I feel ya. I love my dogs: truly members of the family. When it is time, don't resist getting another one. It is the best therapy.

I will check in occasionally. Stay strong!

    Nice Linda!!

I probably had about 2T or more of coco oil in 2 cups of coffee, tasted fine in the coffee but must have been too much too soon!!! I skipped it today and feel waaayyyyy less bloated!

Found out today I have an interview that I have been working on, on Wed Dec 12th - so I'll skip the coco oil until after that to make sure I am OK, lol, wish me luck!!
I am 5'4" 44 yo. Was stable at 123 last round, lost focus, back at 144.
R1 1/11 Started at 170lbs got to 140. Another round 9/12 got to 123. Goal is to get back in that area and hold under 130.

Prayers that God will lead you to exactly what He has in mind for you, be it this new job or a better one on the horizon. May you be at peace with whatever way you are lead.

Yay on the job interview! Fingers crossed and lots of good vibes coming your way girly!!!

You may just need to cut back a bit on the CO, I know I can't do a full TBS of MCT oil in my coffee with the butter it makes me have nausea and quality time on the toilet...lol

    Hi Friends,

I'm one of the new ones... Jumping into your group. I love coming out here for inspiration. It's so nice that so many are here and successful... And so encouraging. I just started P2 (today is day 5 vlcd), but will be out here often so that my P3 will be super successful. Glad I found a group that takes maintenance seriously.

The very best thing I did before this round was EMPTY my kitchen of stuff that I might look for at night, when I'm tired. (there is a story here that involves a few rounds of P2, but I'll skip it. Ha). The second best thing I did was determine a "backup plan" for those times. Plan is to drop everything, take a sleeping pill (I know, maybe not perfect plan), go hop in bed and get on my iPad, or read til I get tired. BOTH came in handy last night. I was searching my kitchen, not finding anything, then remembered "why," remembered the "backup plan" and implemented it. SO happy to wake up today with no regrets.

Everyone have a great night. M

Well all this talk about the CC Oil and MCT oil has me thinking that maybe that is what gave me a "total cleanse" this afternoon :-) Sorry TMI but I am one of those people that needs all the help I can get in that dept. though today it was more urgent than I have ever experienced LOL! Gonna try it again tomorrow and see if indeed it is the MCT oil. I feel great otherwise so will experiment a little. Down 1 lb this morning. Gonna keep at the BP IF days as I really do enjoy them.

For those of you with sick furbabies {{hugs}} I know the feeling well. I raise and show labradors and its never easy to lose a pet. Just remember to allow them to go when they tell you its time. You will know when that time is, trust me. Take the time to heal your broken hearts and try to remember all the good times don't dwell on the sad ones.
