Hello everyone! I know its been a long time since I have posted I just wanted you all to know that I am still around and reading up on you all. I love reading everyones posts and seeing how you are all doing! I have about one week left of R3 and I'm really hoping I can make it to 149. It might be difficult because we are going camping today! Well have a great weekend everyone!

BigMama- Ooh babies! I am such a baby freak love them! I want another so badly, but we miscarried in February and I want a late summer early fall baby, so I have to wait until October. Decided to throw myself into weight loss to make the wait bearable. Hopefuly your TOM isn't gonna stall your losses

Marvless- I think I talked him into a bigger portion P2 meatloaf, I found a good recipe so maybe we will just make it bigger and the whole family can share. I told him I would have one piece, but I wasn't throwing myself under the bus and he could do what he wanted. He wants cake or cupcakes, I thought about trying to find a recipe and maybe use egg whites and stevia? I told him I would make chocolate delight but he wants some kind of cake. I'm at a loss. Will probably still make some so I can have a piece but going to try and find the best option for dessert to appease him. I told him he is letting the food control him. But he doesn't care. Go figure.
Hope your feeling better, good to see your still getting back down to LIW even though your sick.

Jenny- You can do it! Have fun camping, sounds fun!

Disney- Love Myrtle beach!! First time my daughter and I ever went into the ocean also mine and hubby's first "vacation" together. (We went with his family, well met up with them when we lived in North Carolina) So beautiful, and so much fun.

Zoe- Yay on losses, have fun with your grandson!

Also, down another 2 pounds! Today will be technically day 5 but we did have that little cheat on Tuesday. Total down from Start weight is 2.8#, I've seen some people lose like 10 their first week, I know it is mostly water weight but I really want to lose 25 pounds this round. Hoping I keep with the 2# losses until Monday but not getting my hopes up.

Bri I probably shouldn't but I am going to weigh in on the birthday. One of my super secret goals is to be an old lady with no regrets. If there was a way he could go celebrate at his folks and you could stay home that might work. Maybe the kids could go and you could have a spa day.. get some detox bath or something, then celebrate with him alone later..... Guys lose good and he might only lose a day.

Big mama I take celery, there is really not a limit on the vegetable. I sprinkle a little franks hot sauce on it and salt and let it dry. I drink constant comment tea. It is probably not a mix for everybody. I had to drop the apples but oh man they were good. I added another protein and that is good too.

Maria sorry about the cold. My dh is down with a sore throat, fever and cold and the grandson as well. I hope the Cold baths are helping my immune system and I do not get it. The little king is attempting a nap so we are all laying down in solidarity.

Well I gotta go read a real book. I have a novel. My diet book this round is The Four Day Win by martha Beck.

Zoe, they want to come here (they are three hours away) and it is my family included. We're big on birthdays. I read a blog where she had some unplanned things come up, and she did an apple day the following day and lost all she gained. I'm still thinking I can spend the day with them all without going off course. I'd think a piece of meatloaf, following the P2 recipe, would be okay. If he wants a cupcake he can have one, but I will just have a piece of chocolate delight to curb these crazy chocolate cravings and see how I do. I would much rather have a spa day than spend time with my in-laws, but that's not a possibility.

    Morning all-
Sorry I've been MIA for a while. We got really busy with taxes and work and life and I just haven't had time to get on and post. Not much going on in my life lately just doing the HCG tango, down .2, up.2, down .4, up .8, down .8, up .2, and so on, and so on, and so forth. So here I am on day 25 with a 12 lb loss. Tom is due to rear his ugly face any time but with my body who knows if he'll show up on time. I'm so ready to get this weight loss show on the road again. I've been holding with in a pound for 8 days now so anytime the Whoosh fairy wants to come visit I'm ready. I need to learn to like more P2 foods too. I'm getting really sick of lettuce, asparagus and onions. Has anyone else used canned tomatoes?? I was thinking of making a tomato sauce to put on my chicken instead of my usual Chicken and Apple salad. I'm not sure how well that'd go since I used to get heartburn if I ate too many tomato based foods (spaghetti and pizza). I have been having a little dosing issue so I skipped yesterday and am at 2.5 on my insulin syringe. Math is not my strong suit so I'm not sure what my iu's are but I think that should help. I was still quite hungry at 3 small lines below .3 or 30 units so I figure I can always go up that 1 little line if I need to. I'll go back and read through all the posts and send shout-outs later (I hope)
Have a Fabulous Friday and a POP weekend!!!

Bri- I found some chocolate flavored Stevia and I made a cup of Mint Tea and added the Chocolate Stevia to make a mint chocolate tea and I had that as my sweet along with strawberries to curb the craving for Chocolate during GS Cookie season. (thin mints are EVIL!!!!!) Not the same as a piece of cake but a good P2 safe sub.

Kahlan-Its nice to see someone in the same place as me! And Marvless, that you are there and going for more!( I plan on starting R2 on May 22.) Today has been harder as I have had a headache all day. I have had 62 g of protein the last two days and I am wondering if that might be a little too much? Has anyone heard of that causing a headache? I haven't felt the need to eat lunch but today I did to see if that would help. I am traveling tomorrow and am worried about eating breakfast at a hotel while I am gone with my fiancée is still in P2, so it will interesting! Have a great weekend!

What do you guys think? my drops do not contain hcg even though the pharmacist recommended it. Should I modify my diet until my injections arrive? Or is this harming my body at all?

got the answer from grammy. She said stop until I get the real thing. But I still plan on hanging around here until then if nobody minds

I would stick to the diet until your injections arrive, If yougo from hhcg to hcg it is fine, but not the other way around.

;;On a side note, I made some kick *** chili tonight. Excuse my french. It was SO good. I wish we could have had more. I think I might end up keeping the recipe and doubling for the other rounds. Super simple.
3.5 oz ground beef, 1/2 can sugar free canned diced tomatoes, 1/4 tsp of the following: oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder 1/2 cup water.
Brown ground beef (can brown with some onion and garlic if you'd like, about 2 cloves and 1/4 onion, I didn't), add seasonings and water, bring to boil. once to a boil, simmer until thick. I ended up adding a little more water at the end because it went from watery to nothing instantly it seemed.
My husband and I both really liked it.

MomTo, I don't think outturn would cause that, I usually have 100 grams or more of protein a day. I'm following the lepton rest which recommends 50 to 70 grams of protein within thirty minutes of waking. I don't know, I personally thing a lot of protein is important.

Morning...well I am up .8 this am putting me back at 160....grrrrrr I know it will come back down and as my pattern of late I am not suprised. Down 1+ then usually up then back down 1+. So hopefully tomorrow will be a down day! It could be partly due to the crab we had yesterday,(high sodium) but it was so fantastically delicious that I don't care!!!! LOL I will be heading home sooner than expected as my lawyer has finally got an appointment with an independent doctor for an evaluation. Then hopefully we will get a court date before the end of the year.
Well enough about me this morning!
    Have a great day all!

Bri - the "chili" sounds good! wish I could do tomatoes! But sadly they are a no go for me.

Disney- THAT IS AWSOME!!!! Good for you for maintaining so well!!!!

ZOE- Your kicking some weightloss butt! Doing great GF!!!

Bigmama- always remember down is down. It puts us that much closer to our goals!

Kahlan- Bet you it is the nuts.. You will get it back off!

Maria- Hope this morning is finding you feeling even better! Glad to hear the scale is moving down for you too!

    Jenny-welcome back

Beloved- I used to have to take heartburn meds daily. I have not taken any since December. My only issue now with tomato is weight gain I have been avoiding all "nightshades" until I can get "leaky gut" fixed. Hope the new dose works better.

Mamaatoyoyo- I ate aprx 65gr of protein for breakfast alone. Then more for dinner.
