    HCG after pregnancy

Hey all! I had a surrogate baby 3 weeks ago. Not pumping or nursing. Just wondering how long I should wait for my own hormones to settle before doing a round of HCG. THanks gang

What an amazing, life-changing thing you just did for someone.

The consensus is that it takes 6-8 weeks for your hormones to normalize after childbirth. (That would be added on to the end of breast feeding if you were doing it.) It should be safe to start HCG after the 2 month mark.

Thank you!! I was kind of thinking the 3 month mark too but I really appreciate the info. Yes she is a little angel- I am so proud. I call her the best cake I ever baked!
