No you're not taking the right dose. With the way you mixed it, 125 iu would be 25 units. You're taking half what you should be. You should be pulling to 25.

    Ah ha! I suspected.
I knew something wasn’t right. Guess I now have an excuse to re-do the loading period through the holiday weekend :-)

I’ll repeat P1 tomorrow and Sunday with 25units. VLCD will start Monday.

    Thanks Grammy!

Also, if you intended to take a dose of 150iu, you would pull to .3 or 30.

    To check your math:

divide the IUs in the vial by the ml of bac water you used.

    5,000iu divided by 10ml = 500 IUs per ml

What dose do you want to take? 175? 150? 200? 125? That's easy, just divide the dose you want by the strength you just got.

175 divided by 500 = .35 - this is the size of your dose, .35 ml. Or, if you're using the insulin needles, 35
    150 divided by 500 = .3 or 30
    200 divided by 500 = .4 or 40
    125 divided by 500 = .25 or 25

That doesnt make much sense. If we have Hucog already mixed with 1 ML of BAc Water, why would we add 4 ML of Water and then another 9 ML? that would make 14 total??

If you have Hucog already mixed with 1ml bac water, you would do ONE of these options:

You would add 4ml to mix to the suppliers instructions for a total of 5ml of mixture.

You would add 9ml bac water to mix according to grammy's instructions for a total of 10ml mixture.

You would add 19ml bac water to mix according to Dr. Simeons instructions for a total of 20ml mixture.

    You wouldn't combine amounts.

Looking back, I see in my post what may have confused you, so I've edited it to make it more clear.
