Help Tonight. Think I was perscribed 300iu. Need to know what to do

I'm on round 5, Loading day 2. This is my first experience mixing. I mixed 12ml Bact. Water with 12,000 iu HCG. Perscription says take 30 units daily which seemed high. Double what i was used to in previous rounds. I called pharmacy to confirm and they said it was correct, but I'm thinking its way too much. Please advise what to do. Too early to skip?

Yes, you have been told to take 300iu. Assuming you are injecting, reduce to 150iu tomorrow. Your HCG hasn't had a chance to build up yet, so no need to skip. If you are dosing orally, then 300iu is the appropriate dose, but you would split it in 2 and take 150iu twice a day.

Thank you so much! Yes, I'm injecting and I just knew it was way too much. I will reduce to 150iu this morning!

When I first read your post I was thinking you had only had one injection so far, but it looks like you have had two. So instead of 150iu tomorrow, you can do 100iu, and then continue on 150iu the next day and following. It is too soon to skip, but that one day of extra reduction will help the levels settle in at 150iu quicker.

I just had to provide an update...I called the clinic that I got this prescription through and they verified that, yes, they did mean to perscribe 300iu and they guy even said that he takes up to 500iu sometimes! (He also said he was always hungry but that was normal for this diet!) I said I don’t feel comfortable doing that, so now I’m not sure if I’m just going to have to finish this round on my own. I’m thankful I’ve been trolling this forum for years and knew right away that I was told to take too much. Thanks again!
