That’s awesome! So I’m assuming you would recommend the plan?

Yes I feel really good on it! It's basically 50% fat, 25% carbs, 25% protein. No grains the first 2 weeks and you eat slow carbs like beans and fruit to reach that ratio. It's an easy plan.

I saw my orthopedic guy last week after we got back from AZ and he said I'm going to eventually need a knee replacement. WHAT? LOL But he wouldn't do anything about the pain until I have an MRI to see what a little lump on my thigh is. It's likely a cyst or lipoma, but he didn't want to mess with anything until he's sure it's not serious. I get an MRI on tues and see him again on Thurs and am hoping for a steroid shot in it, even though I hate steroids. But I have a big writers conference next week and I'd like to NOT be on a scooter like last year.

The Hormone Fix is something I haven't heard of. Let us know what you think of it!
Sorry to hear about your knee. Hope all goes well with the MRI results and they figure it out for you. Hoping you don't need the scooter for your conference.

I was diagnosed 9 or so years ago with Osteo Arthritis in my Left knee as I was in terrible pain. They wanted me to take Arthrotec, and I had to take a pill after it as it's hard on your stomach. I took it only long enough to get rid of the pain, and then I took Glucosamine and Chondroitin for like six months, and that fixed it for the most part. I still get pain from time to time but nothing like back then.

I will definitely let you know how the Hormone Fix works once I try it, and thanks for letting us know the Always Hungry plan worked for you.

Well I guess I have a bunch of small meniscus tears and shredding of the cartilage. He gave me a cortisone injection in the knee but there's no huge improvement yet. He says if the shot doesn't help that much, they will do a procedure to clean out the and repair it. I'll try the glucosamine! My Chiro is recommending stem cell injections harvested from your own fat. Research looks pretty good on it.

the lump is kind of indeterminate so I'm not sure what to do about it yet. I might just get it out to be safe.
