Thread: June Round

    June Round

Hey friends! I'm glad to see some of you still here. I'm about to start a new round June 2. In the past 4 years I've had 2 broken ankles (never wear flipflops on gravel) and had a knee replacement. I've gained 30 pounds from all the mobility issues but I'm finally feeling pretty good. I was tempted several times to jump on earlier but I was working on my bone density. I just had the big metal spikes taken out in March, and I'm all healed up and ready to lose. I think I'm going to do a high fat/lower carb load this time and see how I do.

Glad you've made it through your mobility challenges and welcome back!

To anyone wondering, this is the real grammy who helped so many thousands be successful on this protocol. She had to make a new account because when the forum was sold last year, all the moderator accounts were disabled.

All groupies can commence the rejoicing! ^_^

Welcome back, grammy! You are always missed. We all face life 'stuff' and somehow end up back here. Take it easy on yourself and enjoy the warm welcome from all. P

Did my first shot this morning! Had a bunch of bacon for breakfast along with bulletproof coffee.

I found I feel better if I do the high-fat low-carb loading. You don't get the big loss after the first VLCD day, but the bloating from all the sugar and carbs was uncomfortable during the loading days. My thought is, if I'm not eating all that junk in my normal diet, why would I add it back for the gorging days. I'll just gorge on the good stuff!

    Happy food celebration. ^_^

When people say my keto diet is restrictive, that's what I say: I'm skipping the fillers and only eating the good stuff!

I can never get those things to work accurately for me. I read that they aren't always accurate when you're older. Not sure why.

Took my 2nd shot this morning. I ate a lot of bacon yesterday. I'm doing IM at 125 iu.

I like doing a long round, but there's not time to squeeze one in so I'm going to do a 25 day round, then take a break and do a 30 day round. I wish I had the time for a 6 week one though!

    Down 2.6 after first day.
