Thread: Anyone loading in January from Grammy's Groupies?

  1. #649
I'm at the end of the last day of the two out of three ending days of P2 (that's a mouthful). Nothing has really changed. I sense a little hunger but when I analysed it, it's not any different from when I needed to play around with the HCG.

I've had a headache of different strengths all day. By 4 in the afternoon I thought my head was going to explode with the pain. Even right up to then I was aiming to save my investment in Stevia but I believe I'm going to admit defeat. I'll start by throwing the chocolate in the trash.

Only one more day on 500 calories and then I'm in the land of mystery - P3!

    Happy Monday everyone :-)
I started with homeopathic drops, switched to Rx sublingual, then ended with homeopathic pellets. If I had to do it over again I'd go with pellets. And I'd cycle.

    Hi everyone!

I was coasting along in P3 until BAM 1.5 lbs up. I think that I ate some suspicious chicken wings - maybe had some sugar or a higher carb content than was claimed... so frustrated with myself! I seem to have stopped the gain, but I'm trying to do a high protein day today. I found some whey protein that doesn't have any sugar or carbs in it (doesn't have much in the way of good taste, either, not surprisingly ) I'm still having trouble forcing myself to eat, I spend most of the day feeling nauseous (I'm on P3 day 8). Seems to hit every time I eat... If I just eat P2 though I can't get my calories up at all, so I'm just dealing with it. I almost wish I was back on P2!

pagilium, I was all over the place in P2 too. So hard to stay focused when even doing things right throws you off! I know that I was anxious to get away from the weirdness, but looks like I've stepped from one weirdness to another

120s, I wasn't sure from your post - did your house sale not go through this time? We're not having much luck on the selling front either. Hoping to see things pick up in the next couple of months.

    Catthai, good luck entering P3!!!

tnmomb - good for you! Staying strong is definitely something to be proud of! I'm sending you a virtual high five

    Hope all's well for everyone!!!

kdub, thanks for asking. The buyers that I went to MN for fell through. Then, got another offer, we countered, they accepted. Got the home inspection, a-ok. Next is the appraisal, and if all goes well, we'll close at the end of April. Fingers crossed!

Your body may just want to stabilize here, honey. But the nausea concerns me. Sounds like you might be eating something your body doesn't like. Can you list your foods?

    Here's what I typically eat:

Breakfast: cottage cheese with blueberries, coffee with half and half
Lunch: salad (baby spring greens or spinach) with chicken or shrimp and P3 safe dressing, sometimes I add sunflower seeds and egg whites too
Snack: don't always have one, but if I do it's a spoonful of almond butter or a string cheese
Dinner: steak, chicken, or fish with veggies (a variety - mixed salad, cucumber, tomato or squash)

I've had scrambled eggs a couple of times cooked in coconut oil with mushrooms, peppers and tomato too.

I've never really seen any weight gain (or loss) from any of these things, I've had them in various combinations. The only gain I've had was right after those darn wings... I've also tried greek yogurt and I made a mug cake once last week. Nothing in particular makes me feel any worse... but nothing makes me feel better, either. I'm pretty much always nauseous after I've eaten, and it seems to get better a couple of hours later. Of course, by then I'm probably getting around to trying to make myself eat something again. I thought that in the first few days it was just my body adjusting to eating fat again, but now I'm not so sure. Craziness!

So you're nauseated after you eat no matter what it is you eat? I'd thought it might be eggs or dairy but you're not eating them for dinner.

Pretty much. If I just take a couple bites I seem to be ok, but if I eat an actual "meal size" portion (4-6 oz meat, 1-2 cups of vegs) then I'm nauseous. A couple times I've probably hit 6 oz of meat just because I liked it and ate too quickly, and those were pretty bad. I never do actually get sick, I just feel nauseous and over-full.

I'm adding some granola and frozen blueberries to my greek yogurt. Maybe I should try more veggies and less protein; that used to work for me pre-hcg. I haven't been as conscious this time around at keeping my calories above 1700, maybe that's it.
I'm wondering the same thing about more carbs. I tried oatmeal this morning. It was sure satisfying! Hopefully it will help with my poo problems too! Here's to stabilizing!

Morning everyone. P2 day three of three is here. I'm not hungry but I woke up at 5am with bubbles in my stomach. That drat headache is still here. The bubbles are sure to be from the Magnesium Potassium Aspartate. The headache is from my trial with Stevia.

kdub, I'll be following along to see if you figure it out. Just like P2 used to be, P3 is a total enigma to me.

I plan on going into it softly softly but my entire being is saying to charge straight into CHEESE! and more CHEESE! I'll give it sauteed prawns in garlic butter instead. With fresh tomatoes. And I'll add avocados the third day.
I started with homeopathic drops, switched to Rx sublingual, then ended with homeopathic pellets. If I had to do it over again I'd go with pellets. And I'd cycle.

I'm stopping. I wanted to lose a little more but I'm taking my friend to the cancer treatment center and last year when I was there, it was just too tough to stick with it. I had limited food available at the cafeteria. I'm basically at where I ended last round but had hoped to go for 10 more pounds this round.
