Well if your skip day caused MORE hunger, you need to go up on your dose. Are you using a different brand this time?
Grammy - I'm on 125iu at .5cc. Still hungry like ALL the time (unless I eat off protocol). My skip day last week resulted in MORE hunger... I'm at a loss er NOT at one and would LIKE to be. ha ha. I don't want to give up, but nothing is happenin here what with the hunger and cheats. (at least I don't think so...I haven't weighed since last weekend cuz I'm afraid to). How low did you go on your dose Grammy? Maybe I need to go significantly lower than the 125iu? I WILL try the leptin reset when I get to P3 (if I ever get off P2, which doesn't look like a possibility any time soon). Why are you loving it? What have your results been like?
Doxie - YOU'LL BE FINE!! RELAX! Everyone freaks about their first P3. Do you need my P3 notes or did I send those to you already? You won't need to count calories (what a concept ay?). Thanks.. your words brought tears to my eyes. You're so sweet! We're doing really good presently. I need to not worry so much...just do what needs to be done, ya know? (I'm sorta on P3 and hcg at the same time about now anyway...I'm trying not to be too hard on myself considering, but I'm naturally prone to beating myself to a pulp mentally. lol) I'm seeing a therapist next week, who she'll go to shortly thereafter. (PhD expert on teens kinda guy) Is tomorrow your last dose day? If so... you need to go on the 500 calories a bit longer, but I'm not sure how much longer cuz I don't know much about drops... Grammy? Mango - Thank you! I agree prayer works. No doubt about it! Yay go God!! I'd stop altogether, but then I think I'd run into the same problem (maybe not as bad) next round regarding my dose and the hunger/cravings. I'd rather get it right and get on with it. I need to take care of ME too and I do not want to be on the VLCDs during the holidays this year! I didn't get to eat for Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter last year.

Grammy - I'm using hucog for the first time. I felt better than ever on it the first week or so, which was nice. I did up the dose after my hunger on skip day.. just a couple notches to .54 on the needle...that's what? Around 130iu? Maybe I need to go even higher. I skipped again yesterday and was STILL hungrier. I have been cheating WAY TOO MUCH so maybe that has something to do with the hunger now? I'm going a a trip for 3 days and I know I'm not going to have it in me to stick to the 500 calories. So I'm thinking I'll just keep dosing and go back to VLCD when I return? I know I'm wasting the hcg at this point and it's super frustrating, but I don't want to give up altogether...I'll check in and see if you think I should up my dose even more or attribute the current hungries to my cheats. Thanks so much for your help. I hang on your every word ya know! Lub ya!
Jacklyn - you need to let us know what type of hcg you're using (check to be sure there's actually hcg IN it) and exactly what you're eating... otherwise we won't know how to help you. So sorry you're having trouble!
Hucog is weaker than what you usually use then, Zami. I'd try going up to 150 and see how you do.

oooooh... well that would explain it! So hucog is weaker than corion? I did 130 yesterday and was STILL hungry. I'll do 150 today and see how I feel. I gotta get it together soon... I'll have exactly 30 days to do the diet perfectly before my birthday Oct. 1. I need to do it .... give myself a birthday present. Thanks so much for your input. I'll keep you posted.
By the way, the leptin diet sounds like the perfect way to maintain after hcg. It's nice someone put it into a "format" with rules. I'll definitely be using it later.
Yes hucog seems to be a little weaker. Different brands often take a different dose. Hope that works!

Well, I'm getting ready to start Round 2 on Saturday and I CAN'T WAIT!! P3/P4 was a disaster for me after I did so well on P2. P3 came right at my son's graduation party, my birthday, and a few other important "eating occasions". I felt like a ship without direction after P2. It was awful. Despite all that, I'm only up 4 lbs which I am hoping to get rid of by Saturday. I will be chaperoning a trip for my DD in the middle of this round so it will be a challenge to stay on track (I'm already thinking and planning on how to get through it). The trip is with 70 high school students for 4 days out of state including a day at an amusement park.
I've found that bread in all its forms is my downfall.

Hey girls! Missed everyone-I was away at Girl Scout camp for the weekend and there is never service at camp!
I was very down emotionally last Friday with an entire week of no losses again! Finally "went" at camp-feel way better-and am down a pound....but still not lower than my first break after the 8 day stall. After that stall broke, I was down 2.2 pounds, then went right back up again and have been fighting those 2 pounds ever since.
I am very close to giving up-today is my 40th day and have no losses for over weeks! Seriously!
But I won't...I just have to complain! Actually I felt great today and my size 14-16 are really spacious! So I guess a yea is in order...despite the scale. But I have a good feeling about to tomorrow-
Zami- I missed your previous messages until now, so I had lots of catching up to do...but holy cow woman...that is a full plate. I have no advice or input or pearls of wisdom...but I will pray on it for you both and sincerely wish for some healing. I agree that you need to focus on you....but as Mom's...we can't help it really. Be strong, keep your resolve...find some peace...either with your daughter, scale, heart or head...
