Hi Jayk, I seem to do well with all the foods on this plan. I'm not used to eating this much fruit, so it's a real treat. I DO lose more after fish and shrimp meals, I find. But, I change all the foods up because it is such a limited diet and I'm used to cooking much more interesting meals. This is fun though...simple, easy clean up after dinner and lunch. Fabulous weight losses. I'm so glad I'm doing a round after a several year hiatus trying other protocols. Nuttin else works for me!

    Hi all

I started a new round after a few years. I'm on P2D1. I've known some people to have good success with a slightly higher caloric intake of 750 calories (higher protein). I'm worries about hairloss and anemia. Grammy...have you always stuck to the 500 cals? How do I make sure my system/hormones don't go nuts during the protocol?

I travel A LOT for work and I'm trying to figure out, how do you all manage eating on protocol while traveling?

Good luck to you, Johanna. I’m on day 16 and am down 14.8. Thank you HCG!

Most of my rounds have been with the original protocol, but I tried adding MCT oil and some other fats during one round for a doctor friend who thought it would work. It didn't. LOL Your hormones should get better while on hcg, not worse. It really does help lift some low levels while on it.
My expert Hcg Diet advice is based specifically on the original Simeons Protocol and over 10 years experience as a weight loss and nutrition coach. Grammy's personal protocol:Grammy's Hcg Diet Protocol

Down 13 on day 17 (or 19 if you count load days, do you?) and doing ok ... got up feeling a little hungry today but it's starting to subside after coffee - currently at .25
Hope everyone is succeeding! Blessings ...

Grammy you said that doing a low carb 30 grams or less will tank your thyroid. I’m loading today and will start P2D1 on Monday and am wondering about doing the original or 2.0. I’ve done both and losses were the same. But I’m on compounded thyroid meds because my body doesn’t convert the T4 to T3 so I’m not sure which protocol would be best!
    Started 1/08/2021
    Round 4

Round 1 - Lost 20.6# counting load days
Round 2 - Lost 13.4# counting load days
Round 3 - Lost 14# counting load days

P2, Thyroid Issues, no carbs, grammy

I’m hopping to reactivate this thread, cause I too need some guidance &
support. I’m on Nature-Thyroid, thanks to Grammy’s suggestion to check my thyroid awhile back. I’ve gained 20 lbs in the last 7 months & need to take action, so I’m starting P1&P2 this week, but I’m cautious cause I don’t want to irritate my thyroid. How’s everybody doing? Grammy, will I need to do anything different with my carb intake- or lack of on P2?
