Sublingual - Rx Drops - Dosing Question

I'll start by saying I'm challenged when it comes to math and would appreciate any insight you have to give....

I did really well on Round 1.
Used Prego-C from Doyle, 3 vials of 5000 iu, each mixed with 15 ml bacteriostic water for a 43 day round.

This round I'm being medically supervised (long story), Rx is from a local compounding pharmacy.
It was one vial of 10,000 iu of powder mixed with colloidal silver (don't know how much) but they've given me two bottles of liquid and I am to take .5 ml twice a day for 40 days. Presumably 40 ml of liquid. Can anyone tell me what dose this is?

I'm on VLCD5, have lost 3.5 lbs. but I'm extremely hungry. I called the clinic today and was told hunger was normal the first week and to call back next week if it hadn't gone away. I don't remember experiencing this hunger on R1.

    Thank you for your help.

there's no way of knowing without knowing how much fluid was mixed into it. And hunger isn't normal the first week. Try upping your dose. I suspect they put you on too small of a dose. The clinics are worthless much of the time.

Did you take the same "amount" w/ the HCG from Doyle?

The math says that when you mixed Doyle's HCG, each ml = 333iu's. So if you drew .5 at a time, that was just over 166iu a dose.
Assuming there is 40ml of fluid, you are drawing 125 each dose from the compounding pharmacy.

So yes, it does appear that you're getting less this round - IF they were sharing actual measurements with you.

My question is: If Round 1 worked for you, getting your own stuff..I know you said long story, so maybe it's none of my business, but this morning I'm finding myself too curious..why go to a clinic for Round 2?

Thank you for your insight ladies, I talked to some others and believe the 125iu dose is what the pharmacy provided.

As for the long story, to keep peace among my family, loved ones and my regular doctor, I decided to go the medically supervised route for Round 2. My regular Dr. sent me to one of his local colleagues whose office had an hcg weight loss program. Thankfully I only had to pay for an office visit with the Dr. and not participate in their full program that is run by one of the nurses in the office. A savings of nearly $1,000! The Dr. spent over an hour with me, told me I'd taught him a few things, and suggested that I should be a spokesperson for hcg. When I called the nurse yesterday about my hunger and dosage issue, she was of no help at all and said it was normal to be hungry the first week and no dosage adjustment was necessary. I know this simply isn't true. In the meantime, I've corresponded with Doyle and have an order in the works. As soon as it arrives I'll be mixing up my own batch and know I'll be back on the right path....

I am so grateful to all of you who have shared your experiences and knowledge here. I couldn't have done it without you.
    Thank you.

Susie-the label should tell you the strength. If not, call the pharmacy. The pharmacist will be able to tell you.

She's using a compounding pharmacy. I never get a full explanation on my compounded hormones, so I doubt there'd be much difference in what they blend for HCG.

Susie - I'm glad you've got a plan!! Evidently, the doctor learned, but certainly wasn't going to share that with his staff running the program. Just irritates me when people in helping professions (like that nurse) develop attitudes and responses that are SO not helping oriented.

I was thinking that because my HCG is compounded Rx & labeled with strength that hers might be too...
Interesting that your hormones have no strength-how do they know what to put in when they make it each time?

They know.. And my ob/gyn approves the blend. I don't think they post it on my label. I'm going ti double check now!

Paendora, do you take the hormones while on phase 2 of hcg. I, too, have prescription from ob/gyn for bioidentical hormones, but stopped taking them while on hcg. Thanks.

I did not stop...except for a three day break when I was waiting for a refill over the Labor Day weekend, and it caused me to stall. This was one of the first things I checked on when considering HCG - cause there's no way I'm living without my hormones!!
