    I'm going to have to do a round. I let life get me down with a lot of people that I loved dearly that died suddenly way too young. I found solace in food. Now I am paying for it. I am thinking about IM just so I have the right dose as opposed to always trying to figure out SQ. Here is the issue, at my current weight and physical limitations, I do not see how I would be able to turn enough to inject in my rear. And secondly, if I somehow am able to do it, on a 3mm syringe, what would the 125 units be? I use 5000 iu with 10 ml bac water (which I am having trouble finding right now). When I did SQ I was using .3 to .32 units on a diabetic syringe. Thank you.

    Sorry to hear you have had such a rough stretch of events. Life can be hard. I applaud you for doing something good for you now.

    Doses are measured the same, so mixing 5000iu with 10ml bac water means you will dose

    125iu = .25 or 25

    Formagenix.net still has bac water, but you have to buy an injection kit to get it. Use the custom kit option.

    You can inject IM into your upper hip area, so you should be ok.

    I inject into the upper hip and you really don't have to turn around very far to reach it. you can also do it in your arm or thigh but that hurts more so if you can do the upper hip, it will be more confortable. Good luck!

    Hi Y'all. I am doing a long round of IM shots. I got HP(highly purified) from India. I choose the 2000iu. I have the total liquid at 8cc so 125iu is 0.5cc. I use a 23g
    1" needle. I don't think I can reach around(yet)so I do them in my thighs and arms, it is a little uncomfortable. I choose the 2,000 because I want to have fresher
    solution. I will probably change it out every ten days. I got 5 ampules($85). So far so good. negligible hunger. just finishing VLCD day 3.....

    I know this is a very old thread, but it’s given me a little more confidence to try IM since my subq dose is almost at the lowest possible (80 ml) and I want to finish my round. Fingers crossed it’s not so bad then I try tomorrow!

    I love IM. It's the only way to do it for me. I tend to have hunger otherwise as it builds up. If you do IM, up your dose to 125 though. That's the reason i went that way too, Mrs. Woody. You'll be shocked how well lit works!

    I was having low level hunger all day and knowing I was coming close to the very lowest possible dose (I am apparently very sensitive to HCG) you had cited and didn’t want to stop the round. I remembered you had mentioned IM before since my dose was low (even though hunger was fine on it) so I started searching and came across this (and other info) and thankfully had some longer needles from mixing so decided to give it a shot this morning. I had nothing to lose. I am SHOCKED at how truly painless it was (injected into the upper/outer hip) - I was terrified! Now I know it was for no reason and am so glad I tried it because I was also terrified I would no longer have HCG as a tool when thyroid issues cause weight gain. That terror won out and IM injection this morning it was! Thanks so much for all the info and providing this as an option. I would truly be lost if HCG was no longer an option for me. And yes, I did dose at 125 - which was also scary since (FOR ME) on subq that is an insanely high dose. But I did it and it seems to be fine. I just had lunch and am feeling relatively satisfied so hopefully all is good. I will see as the day goes on and planned to do a separate post with all this and let everyone know not to be afraid because it truly is painless and no big deal. The needle slid in like a hot knife through butter - and there was less of a “stick” than some subq injections I’ve done! Switching to IM shots??

    It really is! It’s an HCG miracle lol. Still a little low level hunger but not too bad. Hopefully it evens out soon and I’m back to no hunger except mealtimes.

    Whew, glad to hear that wasn’t just wishful thinking!! As usual, you were right - the hunger has evened out and I am much more comfortable.
