    HI Grammy.
    I am R8/P2/Day 12 down 10lbs.
I am 55, post menopausal and am currently doing round 8 to lose the same 20 lbs I have been losing for the last 2 years. I am 5'9 started out 183 and in a past round actually got down to 139. Its a struggle to maintain my weight below 160. I am generally gluten/dairy free and don't eat many carbs.
During my last 3 rounds, ( this is my third this year: Jan, June and Oct) with My daily dose of 150 mcg of Naturethroid/Thiroyd, I all of a sudden am feeling over-medicated. Yesterday I felt like my eyes were bulging out of my head. My waking BP Monday was 95/63 and by the time I went to bed it was 138/83.
And, the last time I had Thyroid bloodwork, my TSH was low( cannot remember specifically)( I am getting bloodwork done next week).
I felt so lousy that in an effort to give my metabolism a break, I skipped my HCG both Monday and today( WED) and took only 100 mcg of Naturethroid.
Is there an adverse relationship between HCG and Naturethroid I am not understanding? I hate quitting but am contemplating throwing in the towel on this round. I want to feel normal and proceed along my HCG path calmly and fear this isn't possible. Please advise. P.S. I cannot talk to my Nurse Practitioner because she doesn't recommend NDT's muchless HCG.

I often need to lower my thyroid meds while taking hcg shots, Robbo. I'm sorry I just saw this. I'd continue on with the 100 mcg dose for now and see how you feel. That might be a tad low but it's probably hard to dose. I usually lower by one half grain when on hcg. I get the racing heart thing which is when I know it's time to lower.

And don't just get your TSH checked. That doesn't tell you much. Get your free T3 and free T4 looked at. Read up over on StopTheThyroidMadness.com

Thank You so Much Grammy! I appreciate the feedback and I do usually get the whole Thyroid panel ( Free T3 and Free T4 ) checked( I just didn't mention it). I quit my round. Post HCG injection(@130 iu) yesterday and (no thyroid hormone at all) I felt like jumping out of my skin. I listened to my body. Thank you again. I LOVE HCG and have had GREAT RESULTS! Thanks again. Robbo
