Thanks Viper today is actually my last day of Vlcd and am down 35.2 lbs.
I cut down to one fruit and upped my veggies and only ate one grissini a day if I needed it which half the time I did not.

Welcome, Kim. I'm sure you'll do great!! I just used straight spices, didn't use the combinations at all after finding out the lemon pepper seasoning I'd used actually had stupid sugar in it...grrrr!! Make sure to always get your protein in, and make sure to drink lots of water!!!

    Good luck!

Note to self: No grissini per Emmylou!

    Hi Kim,
just thought I'd chime in real quick----I know you said you are going thru a clinic. I haven't personally, but it seems that some will have a problem with dosage(not uncommon), but it is the ability to adjust to each individual that is what is so important. Seems many have a cookie cutter dose they give everyone---whereas you may need a lower dose or higher than your friends, say. I would just be sure to find out how what dose and what type of HCG they have you on. If you are not hungry--awesome!! But if you are---your dose needs to be adjusted, just FYI

Also,,,,750 calorie diet is not protocol------please read Dr. Simeon's protocol and it has very specific food and very specific calories of 500. Many clinics and doctors have taken to changing the protocol----and there is no need----it works and when your dose is right---you are not hungry!!! I personally on my second and third round cut out the melba/grissini---it made me and many others stall. He puts it in but says you don't have to have it. Fruit is another thing---- if I have, I only did one a day---that was just me. If you are losing ok, try the 2 a day first, if you start stalling, cut it out all together and see how you do. Again,,,,everyone is different and you just have to see what works for you!!

But I really encourage you to follow the 500 calorie---and the food protocol for Dr. S----this is the original one,,,,,and the exact foods are for a reason.

Hope this helps---- this does work and you will do great. If you read through alot of the P2 threads on Grammy's Groupies, you will see our experts have lost so much and in several rounds----they know this stuff!!! But we are all here to support each other and many say, that after doing a round with a clinic, they do on their own, because this website/forum is so knowledgable and helpful---!!

I have done 3 rounds and couldn't have done it without this great resource!! Good Luck!

Tammy - great thoughts, thank you!

My practioner did mention the 500 calories, but I think her thought was to start off at the 750. Maybe just brought the number up because she saw my eyes glaze over after listening about the whole program. Won't start that or whichever HCG until Monday. Sounds like I'll tell my husband to finish the 2 boxes of Melbas I purchased in preparation ;-)

If it helps, the place that I'm going to is my friends' of over a decade - she & her husband own the plastic surgery, skin care & wellness center & the practioner is her employed wellness coordinator and I think they've been working with clients & HCG for about two years. I trust them wholeheartedly. (www.hallplasticsurgery.com)

One of the things they had me do this week was a blood draw to test my metabolism, etc. My thought is that will simply help her in directing my personal plan and dosage.

Blood work won't help determine dosage. If you are hungry on the 500 calories past a day or two, your dosage is off. Just FYI.
My expert Hcg Diet advice is based specifically on the original Simeons Protocol. Grammy's personal protocol:Grammy's Hcg Diet Protocol
