I love the process too. It's part of the joy of coffee. LOL

I've never heard of this diet-- I googled it, and it looks great! Can I start doing it in P3 -- and if so, by the videos I watched, it looks like I would start in the fmd phase 3?
    Is that correct?

No you can't start it in P3. Grains aren't allowed in P3. It's a great plan for P4 though!

I spent all day today reading "Leez" adventure with the fmd and h burn. I couldn't stop reading-- she is a powerful blogger. I'm investigating fmd for my P4-- but wanted to ask if you were familiar with the Zone? Do you think I can follow it's prinicpals minus the dairy and grains/sugars for p3?
I've had so many failed attempts-- that I feel I need a plan to follow-- I do very well following a plan.

It's been too many years ago that I read it to know what's allowed and not allowed on P3. You don't need anything special for P3, just no starch or sugar.

    Hi Grammy,

I know it's been a while and this is an old thread, but I wanted to get some clarification on this. Stevia can cause hypoglycemia? I have been doing a paleo autoimmune protocol and I know it isn't allowed on the protocol. Maybe this is why. I am about to embark on another round to take off the 12 pounds I have put back on.

Yes it can cause it. I had terrible issues with it and I know quite a few who have various kinds of trouble with stevia.
