Cathy's Journey - All are Welcome

So here's my story....I discovered HCG back in 2010. I took several months to visit forums like this one and read everything I could. I read the manuscript several times. I watched many youtube videos to see how to mix and order for sublingual dosing as well as view many success stories and photos. I then started HCG and did everything by the book and HCG delivered everything it said it would. I have never felt or looked better and kept it off for approx. 2 years. Then as things started going crazy in my life I gradually started gaining. Did several "attempts" between 2012 and 2014...some a little successful, some a waste of time...all because my heart and mind were not in it.

Well my heart and mind are in it now!! There's just something about when you "know that you know". And I know I'm ready for the same experience I had back in 2010.

So I decided that I would start a thread (more like a diary for myself) where I can post my progress daily. I realize no one may ever read this but it just helps me to stay motivated and focused. We all have those different little "things" that help us and posting is just my kind of thing.

SO I'm all ready...just made my sublingual Rx HCG mixture today. Everything is bought and measured. I will start Loading tomorrow (Saturday 8/8/15). Kind of don't want to get on those scales but at the same time ready to face the music and see where I am. Last I checked I was a good 35 lbs. over my LDW back in 2010.

Anyhoo.....so excited. Would love to hear how others are doing.

So it's Load Day 1 and the scale shocked me. Weighed in at 178.6. So instead of being 35 pounds over my LDW back in 2010, I'm 40 lbs over.

But you have to start somewhere right? Ok so here we go............

Much success to you Cathy The main thing is to stay accountable and dont be afraid of the scale even after you are thru with P2. Im on day 39 p4 and this time im trying to stay engaged and accountable so i dont have those creeping gains.

Hey Cathy! You can do this! I did it back in 2010 or so and lost 25 pounds using the homeopathic drops. I gained it all back plus another 25 to boot. It was because I didn't really have the support that I have on here but also I didn't do the research like you have. I just ended my p2 round and gradually went back to eating bad. So I think the fact that you have done your homework you will be just fine.

I'm on R2 vlcd 32 and am down 30.6lbs and 24.5 inches. I'm also so much more determined to do this the right way. I feel so so so much better eating this way too. I know that I have food allergies/sensitivities so as long as I avoid those I will be fine. No sugar for life!

    Good luck!

Rose- Thank you! I was completely successful with my last round in April. I did have to do one correction day but after that I maintained nicely. It helps to read and reread pounds and inches as well as asking lots of questions on here. I even found that I could eat some sensitivity foods on occasion as long as I didn't mix starches and proteins. Still no wheat in p4 but am able to use almond and coconut flour so I'm good with that. I don't really miss wheat.

Dear All, Thank you so much for the posts. The encouraging words are such a blessing to me!!! Congrats to all of you and mewhoshops...WOW your stats are so encouraging to me.

Anyway, today is actually LOAD DAY 2. (had an unexpected family emergency Saturday and didn't get to even try and load saturday or sunday). SO I ended up starting my load yesterday 8/10.

    So here are my stats:

    8/10 - LOAD DAY 1 - 178.9
    8/11 - LOAD DAY 2 - 178.4

Trying to load as clean as a I can meaning concentrating on fats and not carbs/sugars.

Actually so excited that tomorrow is VLCD1. I remember before back in 2010 that i actually did not want to stop VLCD cause I just felt so good, it was easy to prep my food and actually less expensive than eating all that other stuff (LOL). Anyway, I would love for you guys to continue giving me your stats but I'll be posting mine here every day.

Thanks again for taking the time to write and for the encouraging words!!!

Well finally made it to VLCD1 (ended up having a 3rd load day yesterday). Can't believe how much I am actually looking forward to today and eating less and eating healthier. Scale jumped up quite a bit yesterday but now that I know my starting weight I know that I want to lose 36.3 pounds and get down to 145. Realize I probably won't get there in this first round unless I cycle but I have my goal in front of me now and just going to stay focused on that.

Hope everyone is doing well and having much success. Let the countdown begin :-)

Cathy I'm so excited for you! I really enjoy being in P2 also but loved P3 too! I think there is a point that you reach when you're ready to add in some new choices. I had to end this round earlier than wanting to so I'm not as excited about p3 but very happy with my results. My pound losses weren't as great as they could have been but the inches lost were amazing. My total losses for the past 2 rounds are at about 32lbs and almost as many inches. I did a round in April and lost 19.6 pounds but only 12 this round. I'm not complaining because I'm loving how I feel and look and you will too!

Tomorrow I head into p3. How long are you planning on your round to be? I was just reading about cycling, have you done that before? I'm curious.

Mewhoshops, thanks so much for your post. I love P2 but agree with you totally that I LOVE P3. I found it so easy to eat P3 and actually had to get up to at least 1800 calories a day to stop losing weight. You have done so great!!! I look atyour numbers and think that if I had already lost what you had I would only have 4 pounds to go. But I know I'll get there. As for cycling, I haven't really done cycling but I have taken planned interruptions and just ate P3 during those interruptions and gotten right back on VLCD when the interruption was over.

Anyway sorry I haven't posted for 2 days. It's been crazy around here. So far so good. See below for my progress.

    8/13/15 VLCD1 - 181.3
    8/14/15 VLCD2 - 180.3 (-1)
    8/15/15 VLCD3 - 179.4 (-.9)

Cathy your doing really well! I don't know why I'm a slow loser on hcg. My first week was awesome but then I hit stalls or plateaus in my weight losses. My inches continued to go down but slower in this round to. I'm hoping that increasing my exercise will get things going again. Just been feeling under the weather this week so I'm not really up to it.

On a good note I was only up .2 this morning after my first day on p3 foods so I'm happy with that.
Since feeling off this week I've had to listen to a few people blame the diet. Grrrr!
