    Single And Multiple Quote Replies

This feature allows you to visually "reply" to a person or people.

    Single Quote Reply

When wanting to respond to a person click on the Reply With Quote button at the bottom left of the member's post. Then respond to that member by typing in the box like you normally would.

The image below shows you how the post will show up as well as where the button is to click.

You will also notice the blue rounded rectangle next to the member's user name in the quote. You can click on this blue rectangle to be taken to the replied to post.

    Multi Quote Reply

This feature allows you to reply to several people at once across multiple pages.

Instead of clicking Reply With Quote like above, click the button to the right of that that contains the comment graphic and + sign. After clicking, a check mark will appear over the + sign indicating you are going to reply to that member.

When you are ready to type, click on Reply With Quote on the last post that you want to respond to. Type as you would normally making sure that each response is after the ending QUOTE tag in the reply window.

You can click this multiple times in a single page or multiple pages. The image below shows how the post will look after replying to multiple quotes as well as where to click.

So after I do the multi-quote thing -- how do I keep it from showing up every time I try to reply to thread after that?

It should only have those threads selected until you make the reply. After you make the reply and post it, the threads should be deselected.

It doesn't -- it keeps them selected so that they come up every time I post anything on that thread.

ETA: Never mind -- it's not doing it now -- maybe I was doing the multi-quote wrong and clicking on the wrong "reply" button before.
