Looooove first week losses. I am down 4.2 so far for the week, with one day left. I lose in a pattern of a few days of not much then a good woosh, so I won't be surprised if I am the same tomorrow, but this round is whizzing by. If I don't lose another ounce, I could not complain. However, I am doing another full week, and anything I get, I will be thrilled. If I don't get to where I want to be measurement wise, I will just go to P3 for a while, and circle back again later.

As I just told someone on another thread...just shows what determination ---and the right tools--- can do! The right tools part is soooooo huge. And learning to use them properly. P

I'm still losing well here at the end of week 2, so I've changed my plan from 14 days of P2 to a regular 23 days.

I am still not sure how long I will do P3. I waver between 7-10 days, 14 days, and 21 days. I would like to cycle right back to P2.

    So here's my new question...when I go back to P2, do I only do 17 days (since 23 + 17 = 40)? Or can I do another 23 days or even longer?

You can do another 23 days or more if you want to. Just listen to your body and it will let you know when it's ready to go to P3, back to P2 etc. I would stay on too as well as you are doing, no reason to mess with something that is working well for you.

I was going to stay off for a week, been off a couple of days and went ahead and mixed to hop back on tomorrow. I just had to get some sleep, now that I've slept a couple of nights I should be good for at least another week of hcg sleeplessness.

What this board considers protocol really is all over the board (pun intended). The same people that say homeopathic doesn't have any number of day limitations because their isn't enough hcg in it will spend time "adjusting the dose" of the people taking such ( and adjusting dose is not protocol! ).
I am trying to cycle staying completely POP so I am viewing my cycles as planned interruptions which Dr. S. states you need 23 days first but then does not have any restrictions regarding how many planned interruptions or how long they must be (except for at least 4 days and should load if 2 weeks or longer ). I did 28 days p2 now I am doing 21 days p3 and then back to 28 days p2. I will then likely do p3 for 28 days and then hopefully finish with 28 - 35 days of p2 and then will end with p3 forever ( which is my normal way of eating )...

The only form of HCG that is protocol is injections at 125iu, anyone taking any other form or dose is off protocol from the start but you'll never get them to admit that LOL

I restarted today so did one week, took a couple of days off hcg to get some sleep and am now back on hcg. Will do this one until I can't take the lack of sleep anymore and do the same. Really no set cycle schedule, just whatever my body can handle which tends to be a max of a week with very little sleep. I'd like to push it to about 10 days but not sure if I can do it that long or not.

Welcome Bebifal I still have a long ways to go too, probably 40-50lbs at least so I'm not going anywhere anytime soon LOL

TOM started with my first injection yesterday so this week might be a wash, never know how I'll lose on the bad TOM week, will have to wait and see.

Sounds like P3 is going well. YAY

No idea what the deal is with HCG and insomnia but it's miserable. I know a couple other boardies have trouble with it too. I refuse to take a sleep aid though, have to be up early in the mornings so I deal with it the best I can.

This is what I'm actually gonna try. I follow a blog of a girl who does this 1 week on 1 week off cycle and she does very well. She averages 4-6lbs every p2 week. It sure would help break things up and make things more bareable. Granted it may take longer to lose the weight but if it makes things easier to stick with then it's worth a try

Are you allowed to post the blog name? If so, can you post? I am curious about cycling and I have read a ton on this board but haven't seen the 1on/1off approach.
